My only issue with this seems to be the lack of variety compared to the original mod. There seems to be generally two types that spawn, with the main difference being one has a short barrel and the other has a long barrel. I'm guessing the original .45 version never shows up and it does not work with mods that add a 9mm receiver.
Hey scoobs, think u could add a replacer to the vanilla smg thompson, i know its a ww2 gun but i dont quite like it, would love to replace it with this gun, excelent work on your replacers!
Is it possible to add this weapon rather than making it a replacer? I like the pipe guns cos it`s the kind of weapon desperate people\raiders in that kind of world would put togther from pieces. It may not be much of a gun, but it really adds to the world to have it there. A grease gun should be in levelled lists as a little rarer from history.
Cant manage to get this to work. Using vortex, i install the original mod, install this mod, it says there is a conflict, i choose to load this mod after the original one. Still have crappy pipe weapons.
This mod requires the Grease Gun mod too. Does it stop that mod from spawning on raiders, npc, etc. all the time and only allow spawning when the enemy or other NPC would have natively spawned a pipe gun?
It swaps the model on the pipe weapons, meaning it will spawn whenever a pipe weapon would have spawned. The LL injection from the original mod has been removed, so you will only see the replaced pipe weapons spawn. You can still get the regular Grease Gun via console commands to compare them.
Thank you, that's what I was curious about. I only wanted it spawned via the normal spawning of pipe weapons (actually, I got the pipe revolver only version) and not on every raider, gunner, bad guy like the Grease Gun mod by itself does.
Think you could make this replace just the pipe revolvers? I like the BAR, but there are too many problems with that mod, plus it breaks chad509's standalone anims.
There is no way in hell that that mag can fit .308 Winchester in itself, and there's no way in hell that an M3's action could handle .308 Winchester. I forgot that this wasn't the original mod's page when I posted that.
I care more about keeping the weapon variety of the base game. (Heavy Grease Guns are exactly the same as Pipe Bolt-Actions apart from not being bolt-action). I tried to add some explanation for this by increasing the weight of the gun, meaning the gun is bigger now, but you cannot see that in the models.
If it bugs you that much I can make it the same as my MP40 replacer. (Both grease guns would shoot .38)
They should work together. I use Super Mutant Redux which allows them use more equipment than normally. That could fix any issues if there are any with vanilla super mutants. I'm not sure because I only tested with SMR. I used the Defense Gun Pipe replacer for a long time with no issues, so this should replacer should be the same.
Reload animations could be funky with Super Mutants. I would have to edit the super mutant race which would make this mod incompatible with any super mutant mods.

Edit. Nvm, it was New Vegas I was thinking of!
>.308
um... I think you put the wrong ammo type there.
Download the upadated esp if you have Grease Guns from the original mod spawning. I accidently forgot to remove the LL injection on the first upload.
