It works better if you do this in workshop mode otherwise you may have to fast travel away and back to get it to activate. If you are going to assign a child to a bed you need a sleeping bag or child beds. I use this mod - A Rainbow of (Child) Beds. They can not sleep in a regular bed because the size is incompatible.
Hey friend! I noticed an SEQ file in here and I just wanted to let you know that's more of a skyrim thing. If you want to learn more about modding Fallout the Collective Modding Discord is a really great place to be and learn from :D. Shoot me a message if you can't find a link :).
Thanks very much for making this mod, now the Peabody family in my FO4 is safe. I sent them to the Slog, and gave the parents armors and guns stripped from those gunners. Now they can defend themselves. Actually all the settlers in my Slog are ghouls. It's simple, people live there are all the same, no judgement and feel easy.
Very late to the party here, but thank you for this! I have a soft spot for the (non feral) ghouls in these games, and arguments re: lore aside, this is one of my favourite quests in FO4 because it can be resolved peacefully (my character's charisma is high enough that I could do so with no violence at all). Being able to send the family somewhere safe, after concluding the quest happily is really perfect. I ended up directing the Peabody's to The Slog, where they've settled in well. Cheers!
I found special satisfaction in killing Bullet tbh :D Then I sent the Peabody family to safety and used their house as a staging post for my assault on Quincy :D
Never too late to party. But there is this amazing post on reddit that has strong arguments as to why kid in a fridge is possible lore wise. Evidence that Ghouls do not require food.
I wish someone would do this same thing to the kid (Donny) next to the Chinese submarine. So sad he just lives in that shack by himself surrounded by mirelurks and other things ;(
I understood the Author of this mod is not available anymore ? :(
Awesome small yet so big mod... I only wish I could assign Billy a new outfit,in my case the Vault outfit with the PipBoy, since just I sent the Peabody family to Vault 88. I hope those two console commands you gave us here will help me with that. If that doesn't... how should I achieve that? Thanks.
Assuming you have a mod that allows you to create children's clothing have you tried the NPC Inventory Manipulating Sniper Rifle? You craft the rifle under the Chems station and then you can shoot anyone (Does no damage, non-hostile action) and you can change their armor, clothes, weapons etc. Works well with companions that tend to wander away while you're trying to trade with them, just shoot them instead lol.
It is my personal opinion that this mod is "essential" to the game. Since you released this, I have used it with MUCH satisfaction with every playthrough.
Thank you so much for making this, and... honestly, this has not gotten the attention or love it really deserves from the community.

Any chance to get this as an ESL format? I couldn't flag the esp in FO4Edit.
Not bad
