When should I start seeing them? New game and im still only seeing the vanilla submachine guns (the replacer I chose) Edit - I gave up. I couldn't get the replacer to work for anything.
All of the stats on my replacers are taken from the vanilla game weapons to keep them somewhat balanced with what they are replacing. They aren't based on the mod added weapons or the real-world weapons. I always disliked replacers that make vanilla guns overpowered since you can get legendary versions that are already overpowered.
Is there any chance you would be willing to make a mod that replaces the Thompson submachine gun instead? I don't mind the combat rifle but the submachine gun seems useless, although if you did make this mod I don't know how it would affect the Silver Shroud mission
I could easily create one of those versions. I went with the combat rifle because I modded my Submachine gun into a real Thompson with the damage stats of a combat rifle, which I could also release. It wouldn't be able to affect the unique silver shroud sub though.
Cheers for the quick reply. I do like the Thompson, it's just not really viable to use. Especially as I have mods to increase NPC health so if you did release a mod to buff the gun, I would appreciate it.
I have a Vanilla weapon rebalance mod for myself. It changes the stats for the Double Barrel, Thompson, and Hunting Rifle to be a bit stronger and more viable. The Thompson is identical damage to a Combat Rifle with all the increased fire rate and recoil of the vanilla SMG. I can publish it now. (I also have leveled enemies mod and SMR, so they work well against high HP targets)

I actually already made a couple for myself already. So far, I have the M1918 BAR replacing pipe revolvers, and working on Mauser family replacer for pipe bolt actions.
