      good question that .. I did one for the weapon but looks like never bothered  to actually implement it.

    ok I saw the model from 500slr and just have to ask... Why go with the bolt on the wrong side here? also why is the mag release extended so far down? the only part you should be able to see is the vertical tab that you pull on to release the mag.

      'wrong side' .... simple that was the available animation in FO4 and had no permission to use someone elses.  Seems the world of fo4 is laevocentric when it comes to weapons.  As told others if want to redo have at it as anything I do is free to use.

      other thing just ended up that way when finished the model ... can not recall why to be honest about it.

    I have a question ; Why does adding any of your weapon mods cause the mod manager to freeze? It is the first time that I see this quite unpleasant effect

    I have many modifications and none have given me this "bug" when I even want to place the mouse cursor on the name of your mod, it gives the effect as if the mod weighed 100 gigs so that you can guide yourself, maybe you can help me I like them your weapons but I can't install them greetings good man

      have never heard this before .. which mod manager are u using.  None of the testers have run into this issue and unless someone chimes in this is the 1st this has been reported.  Now I use lose files and not BA2 ones and sometimes that can cause issues but normally only in game.  So at somewhat of a quandary on how to figure this one out .. will ask some of the testers if anyone has seen something like this.

      nice bro thanks is that generally it always happens to me what others do not haha I like your mods a lot but because of that problem I cannot install them I do not know why it happens, first I thought that when I reached the number 700 of mods installed the nexus mod manager community edition had stopped responding but after deleting several mods to re-add your mods the same thing happened, when placing the mouse pointer the program was frozen very strange !!!! If it only happens to me, you don't have to worry, it must be something that conflicts with the nexus mod manager for having so many modifications (this happens to me for being such a fan of XD mods)I send you a cordial greeting and thank you very much for reading and answering me take care good man !!!

      if we can come up with something will get back with you .. I know one of the testers is running more mods then u at this point and he is not seeing the issue but will keep looking just in case.

      posted a new esl or tagged esp for this mod if have time give it a try and let us know what happens.  If works we will update the others having issues with to be this vice straight esl.

    hello again good news not all your mods cause me the bug in the nexus mod manager because I have red hammer and 1911 trinity and there is no problem XD is with sks, colt woodsman, steven m520 and colt army in case you discover something about the tool I use to install the mods (NMN) HUG !!!!

    is there any way to change the changing handle to the correct side there's some SKS mods that have custom animations that they probably wouldn't be mad if you asked

      yes have a mesh that way but did it this way as that was the animation at the time had access to.  The mod is a CC0 so anyone that wants to improve it and change to there likely has OK to do so.  Not sure I will ever implement myself so if someone else wishes to do so have at it.

    Love the mod! The only problem I have with it is that, although the standard sights look great, they're not nearly visible enough. They're too high up and blocked by the little rail section on top of the receiver. Any chance you could fix that?

      will look at it .. can't say it ever jumped out to me .. next time in game will break out the weapon as luv to use it also against the weaker critters with the drum mag.

    Any change you could add an old school crosshair? Great mod, but not a fan of the modern red crosshair. Many thanks for the mod.

    This is a fantastic mod, really love the weapon. I'm on xbox so I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but would you be able to add a modern stock to the semi automatic version? I'm not sure if that was supposed to be available anyway, given all the different stock options, but I would really love to have the modern variants on the semi auto version rather than just the automatic one.

      I'll add this to the list of changes for the mod ... will do once get back to it. Working my mods in sequence at this point so to be honest will be a while as ae the 40K mod on the plate now, then cleanup on the CM and then the Foundry and then this and so on. Sorry that can not get to right away.

    Have you thought about using the SVT-40 animations on the gun, they would fit perfectly

      not really not that familiar with the animations or the weapon .. will try to look at and see if can get an OK for same. have only done 1 other animation reuse and to be honest would have failed if the author had not taken pity on me and corected the mod for me .. so will see if can figure it out this time.

    No matter what I do, the game crashes when I hover over the SKS on the workbench. I followed the bugs section but nothing works.

      not sure what could be causing that at all except a conflict with something else in the game. have u tried to just add the weapon to your inventory with the playeradditem command and see if have a crash that way??

      if do that and crash then something strange be happening other than that i can try moving the weapon to a diff location and post a test esp for u to use and see what happens. Let me know what works for u.
