REMEMBER! Don't use this mod with the mod 'True Shadows' . Can be compatible with 'Ultra Interior Lighting' . Can be compatible with Enhanced Lights and FX.(But someone tests suggesting lighting overlaps in certain interior scenes. So I think you should be cautiously) Should be compatible with ENB plugins. This mod is focusing on Exterior scenes of Commomwealth, no Interior scenes edited.
Most of dynamic light sources are availible at NIGHT! (light on from 6.00pm to 6.00am)... So Please running test at NIGHT time .. :-D Tell me how the mod working on your rig,, and any bugs, I expect your feedback. (with your hardware detail and game setup). Thank you.
By now, I only modified scenes in Commonwealth, no Far Harbor and Nuka World scenes. Considering CreationKit Engine's floppy capability, it cannot balance so much dynamic light sources well. So I shut down more works on DLCs scenes. No DLCs scenes, only Commonwealth scenes. Adding so many light sources, may heavily hits on fps. If your rig can running original FO4 well at 1080p/60fps, the Standard version should goes well. If your DO have a powerful rig, try the Hi-end version, let it burn!.
IMPORTANT Tips !! As following instruction , you can avoid a lot of annoying "light flickering "and blackout in the game with this mod! I just found out. X-D...
1.Open your Fallout4Custom.ini, search if there is a option [LOD]. 2. adding below texts to your Fallout4Custom.ini: [LOD] fLightLODFadeMin=0.0000 fLightLODFadeMax=3000.0 fSpecularLODFadeStart=0.0900 fSpecularLODFadeEnd=1.0000 fRefractionLODFadeEnd=0.0300 fRefractionLODFadeStart=0.0250 fEnvmapLODFadeStart=0.0900 fEnvmapLODFadeEnd=0.1000
I underestimated what you said about this tanking your FPS. I dropped down to 14fps in the Institute with this mod on Ultra settings on a 6700XT. Disabling it put me up to 75. Looks great in all other scenarios though, so if you have a beefy PC, I'd say try it out
could you please make a version with only the fake lights removed? i didnt find such mod still or make a mod which edits only areas that dont already have very low frames per second (avoid boston area and other low-PFS zones)
Does this mod add curtains inside the walls of the office of the Red Rocket next to Sanctuary? I saw it clipping through so did a TCL and check it out and the walls around the office with the computer have yellow curtains in them. This is the mod the console info said it was from. Really strange. :| Was outside light getting in or out from the building or something?
It is, I believe the mod author left them in the mod and forgot to remove them or something. Otherwise it's odd to add curtains to red rocket for an exterior lighting mod.
This mod is really amazing, I would loved to keep it, but I couldn't because problems with the compatibility with for example, Goodneighbor Loft.
After to uninstall it, i saw improved a lot the performance of my computer. Shorter load screens, and more FPS in Boston, where i can set the game in ultra again, working at about 50 FPS in Boston (With other mods and ENB).
Really you need a very very powerful computer to run this mod fine.
Fallout really need a fundamentally remaking, for the game engine is TOO obsolete! The engine is a low efficiency mess, compared to GTA5 or Witchard 3.... Even 2080ti cannot save FO4. All the mods, ENB, Reshader-plugins.....cannot save this shabby game. That's a shame. I only hope Bethesda abandon this old engine ASAP.
blame poor rendering dx11 interface and the open world detail and detail of fo4. the game was ahead of its release date like oblivon. its not (only) bethesda's fault. see fs2020 and x-plane. still even with DX12 same performance problems
This mod is one of the top mods graphically for Fallout 4. There's some performance drops, especially when in the city, but it just makes me want to upgrade my PC to enjoy this. Great work!!!
Mate im using a 6700 XT and I'm having trouble running this, yeah it looks great but performance dips just are too much to be used properly. I'm just gonna stick with other mods for now
Because this MOD is poor optimized. I suggest using Ultra Exterior Lighting. Though UEL is not a perfect lighting mod, but it is the best one by now. I even tried fixing UEL to make it better, but fps dropping, stuttering..and so on, were still happening.
I stole the true shadows plugin, did not change anything in it, it was broken and did not work periodically and does not work, as it killed fps in the premises and kills bravo.
I'm playing on 4K res, the standard version of this mod will normally cost 10-20 fps in city than default. It offers a very nice performance, must give a try if you dont hit the low fps critical line in city area. Maybe mine is conflicting with some other mods. ;) endorsed

That mod stabilized my FPS and I don't wanna risk anything that may rekt it lol
