This mod changes the model of the legendary item The Captain's Hat, received after completing the Far Harbor quest "Rite of Passage." The main file changes The Captain's Hat to look like the traditional Sea Captain's Hat. The original model just never really stood out to me and I felt like it made Hancock's hat and the Minutemen General's Hat less special.
*There is an optional file that instead changes The Captain's Hat to the Submariner's Hat. That file is more just for fun.
*This does not affect the quest in any way. Just changes the in-game and preview model to the chosen model.
REQUIREMENTS: 1. Fallout4.esm 2. DLCCoast.esm
HOW TO INSTALL: *Installing with a Mod Manager: 1. Add and activate the archives
*Manual Installation: 1. Extract the files 2. Put the extracted esp into your Fallout 4 Data folder 3. Enable the main file in your Fallout 4 Launcher
HOW TO UNINSTALL: 1. Uninstall the mod with your mod manager, or by removing the esp manually 2. Should be safe to uninstall mid-playthrough as it only edits the model of the hat
(Note:Install main file OR optional file. Not both)
