New version 2.0 has been released. Immersive version will be released at some point in the near future. Check the description to see what's up with this now.
I love this mod, so thanks for adding first of all! But just a heads up, I still get sent to kill random settlers in my own settlements, lol. Did a fresh new install on a new game too :/
Is there any way to modify this to make it so it immediately places a new bounty in the mailbox as soon as the current bounty is discarded or completed? Meaning remove the requirement to travel around in order to issue a new bounty.
For a while now I was looking for an alternative to Bountiful Boards so I'm exited I stumbled across this.
Looking under the hood a bit I can see how everything is linked to the two mailboxes but I can't see any reason why I can't pick them up and move them to another location (i.ejust change theirs&their markers coordinates). They are persistent so obviously they cannot be moved after you started a game with them. Unless there is something else that needs to keep them there.
Will try, worst case it won't work... :-)
I use a different area as a base so it would do wonders for my roleplaying if I can have them nearby.
Yo, been too long since I've made this but you can always customize things and back them up for personal use. Nobody can say a thing about that. It's what I've done on many, many occasions.
Thank you for the response, yes it is seems to work with no issues. Moved it close to my base so now I can get the latest "news" with my morning coffee :-P
This is very useful for adding a bit of content and purpose if you're tired of the vanilla quests and want to do something more than aimless wandering. The rewards are not OP, either, simply some caps. I appreciate the cancel feature as it can be quite unpredictable what and where the target will be; it might send you to a dangerous location for your character level. Thanks!
