Does this affect NPCs who have the perks as well? I'm pretty sure some NPCs have player perks

Simple, works as advertised, doesn't come along with any unnecessary changes - endorsed.

Last thing heavy gunner needs is to be made entirely worthless. Should increase it by 50% if anything given how s#*! the heavy weapons are
    Still worth the download tho

i want even weaker perks.. maybe around half of what half is already there? except chemist.

Maybe something like increases by 5% each time. so like basher second level would be 20% instead of thirty and the final level would be at 30%

Hey, nobody posted anything for so long, so I kind of just assumed it was a dead fish. I don't even remember where I put the files now. But come to think of it, if you only get 5% per perk, it's so little that it's barely worth it. I mean, why would you spend 5 points on getting a 25% damage increase for a single type of weapon, when the lone wanderer perk gives you 25% endurance and 25% damage for all weapons with only 4 points?

I'm keeping my eye on this and Immersive Scaling for when I get around to starting a new game. Have you considering adjusting the bobblehead, magazine, companion, Far Harbor, and Nuka-World perks as well?

Never thought really thought about it. They didn't seem that overpowered to me and they are tough to find. But making such a mod would be as easy as changing a few numbers in an excel sheet using the Fallout 4 editor.

I didn't know Nukaworld and Far Harbor had new perks. I'll have to look into that.

I disagree. This mod is for those who want to play through the story and not feel overpowered without changing the overall feel of the game. Endless warfare turns the game into a Brutal Doom (great game), but Fallout vanilla is about exploration and combat... not a war zone.

That is kind of like saying "Endless Warfare and War Of The Commonwealth are kind of useless. If you need a challenge try opening up the console and typing player.placeatme 0014AE58 100... which will transform your gameplay into a nightmare :)"

All kidding aside though If you use Immersive Scaling (or anything like it) you NEED the damage bonus from perks tuned down if you want to preserve any kind of balance. Not everyone wants to use mods that add a ton of enemies into the Commonwealth. This mod (in conjunction with a scaling mod) is about making the combat tougher, not more abundant.

The only change I don't agree with is the Basher perk, that perk is useless as it is. The rest of these would be good though.

You're still getting a 60% increase with "only" 4 points, while many of the others give a 50% increase over 5 ranks, so 15% per point isn't bad in my opinion. But I never use it myself. Unless there is a roach beneath me.

Just came for an explanation as I don't understand completely.
I know what the mod does, but I don't really understand the point. What I mean is, couldn't you just take half of the perks (or none at all) to make the game challenging?
I'm just trying to understand because no one forces you to take all the perks if you don't want to.

You definitely could (although you would miss out on some additional bonuses that comes with the perks). But to me, the game doesn't feel as enjoyable when I deliberately have to avoid using certain features to make it feel more balanced. If you simply decide not to use the perks you're missing out on the satisfying grind to unlock them.

I suspect only people who play on survival mode would want this mod. I'm playing on survival mode with no health scaling, no power armor and it's still too easy if I don't tweak the perks.

Because we want the perk but at the same time we don't want the perk, if you know what I mean.

Because you want to modify a handmade rifle without it doing ludicrous damage.

You should forward the changes from Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch.

I think that patch is only for fixing bugs, not alter the difficulty.
