Great concept. But personally speaking, the Sickle and hammer symbols shouldn't be so ubiquitous. Plain red and slogans are more appropriate to some extent.
I love how in every communism-related mod thread someone cracks a joke about the mass starvation that has plagued every attempted communist regime, and then the same two dudes come in and leave defensive, passive-aggressive responses all over it.
It pretty much sums up the entire world political view towards communism.
Look guys, let's all acknowledge that we're on the same page; In video games, communism is kinda fun, because it gives us the ability to either revel in the inhumane militarism, or alternatively, pretend it isn't a catastrophic failure.
You're right, capitalism has starved more but look at the time frame its been around, and then the time frame of communism. Capitalism has been thriving since the 1700s. Communism failed over the span of 100ish years and starved millions upon millions. During the chinese famine 30 million people starved to death, In russia it was 7 million. Adding in the gulags and harsh punishments/mass killings from both sides that number shoots even higher. Don't think anything like that was happening In the US at that same time chief.
Sometimes for these countries, the adjustment of production relations will be more helpful than simply developing productivity, except for North Korea... They were really short of oil in the 1990s.
In this alternate universe, wouldn't this be equivalent to holocaust survivors hoisting up nazi flags all about the place?
I mean obvious paralels to the real world aside, but didn't red dogs set all these people on fire from the skies? Oh thanks buddy for turning me into this hideous abomination, can I grab a few of your nifty flags?
Besides, at this point I have serious doubts about the feasibility of creating some socialist utopia. I'd be satisfied with savagely brutal retribution inflicted upon the elite..
Well the Europeian capitalisms invaded just enough region worldwide and killing good amount of people then guess what? people in those places accepted capitalism later on. Surprising eigh?
The whole commonwealth is full of capitalist scums killing eachothers for a piece of bread. Now we finally have a a safe place to call home... We shall start to export the Revolution comrades
what about the corrupt impoverished latin american nation devastated through by a long history of american intervention on the continent not to mention the initial upset caused by colonial powers that left the native people impoverished so they could get some silver?
did you know that the last major soviet famine was in 1947 the regular famines where not just part of soviet life before then but it had been regular for all peoples of the region for hundreds of years
Consider the fact that the Liberty Prime never killed even ONE SINGLE communist but instead wiped out two importaint capitalism institutions. Guess it's safe to say Communist Prime is a Chinese spy?
Labor camps? Like in America? Where, through the thirteenth Amendment, slavery is legal in prisons? Where prisoners work for a couple dollars a day to work their asses for private prisons? I'd rather call that slavery.
Back to the Soviet Union, there was no slavery. Labour camps were obviously a thing, but they did not have death camps (release quota was WAY higher than the death quota, which was a very small one). Please educate yourself before commenting these things.
