Nice mod. but do you realize why the female "sit" is so feminine?Because in EVERY OTHER BETHESDA GAME modders and gamers constantly b----d and or replaced Bethesda's unfeminine animations they were giving female characters. Seriously look at Fallout 3, NV and ES:V Skyrim animation mods the vast majority of them focus of making the women more feminine. Apparently Bethesda actually pays attention to their modding communities and made women more feminine in FO 4. Cheers for them. It was a good idea ... because the modding community was wanting more feminine females in all their games particularly where animation was concerned. Could it have been better sure. Bethesda has never been the best with animations, but I don't think the females should sit just like the males, period. other than the fact you just pulled a "no work" anim swap this is a mod that is needed for variety, but next time create your own "badass" female anim instead of just doing a cheap swap (that makes no sense as not even a bad ass girl sit's down like a man).

The reason dudes usually don't sit like women is because they have some equipment that gets in the way an is incredible uncomfortable to sit with your legs closed.
It's how a vast majority of women sit, difference between male and female motions and stances is a thing. This has been proved by science and it has to do with each genders mind because what many people don't seem to f*#@ing get is that; WE ARE DIFFERENT, one gender has a penis and one has a vagina, males are biologicly stronger and our minds work differently most of the time... Of course women can sit differently than that but in the game Bethesda took the most popular one for each gender and used those because it's a GAME and there are limitations!

Actually there are men that sit cross legged. Zinedine Zidane for example. Of course it is a bit diffrent and not tight close crossleged, but its cross leged. And the reason most men usually don't sit crosslegged (you would call it feminine) is because widespread is just the most comfortable. Some men overdo it because they are unsecure. But normally spread and not overdone is the best relaxed way. You could saw that as teenagers. Many female teenagers (male teenagers as well ofc) sit relaxed in different wy but society tells them to be more "feminine" and then some of them don't do that anymore to "fit into society standards".
long story short. i think a human should be allowed to do what he/she wants no matter if she/he is a female or male or whatever. people are individual, deal with it.
and men have that similar problems sometimes as well. i mean its not well seen if men wear flip flops. some say that's feminine. But i think its bulls***, since normal shoes are too much in the summer and sandals cover feet too much. and ofc barefoot is even better, but in some areas you don't want to step into something bad. and i cant tell you how many (mostly MEN!!) can't accept my freedom of choice to not wear closed shoes in summer!
so why do people always tell other people how they should behave and what they should do or not. those are the worst people and reason this society is so sick.
Kratz, take your social commentary elsewhere and stop treating women like perpetual victims of society. People are individuals and they will act as they see fit. You can have one sitting animation at a time and I appreciate this option of a more relaxed pose^^.

I mean yes men have balls and said balls need room, but the lack of balls doesn't mean your legs must be stabled shut at all times or that sitting with your legs relaxed(aka open) isn't still the most comfortable way to sit.
Also if you're gonna whine about someone making a "lazy" mod, you should probably have made at least a few mods yourself before whining. By looking at your profile we can see you haven't made a single one, so clearly, you have no idea the effort it takes to make one. So shut up your ignorant mouth.
That's a terrible reason lol. The real reason they do it is because someone in the art department understands that being feminine can still be badass. You don't need to masculine-ize your women to make them strong. This mod sucks because it removes an aspect of distinction for half the characters in the game. Women can be badass without being turned into men. Unfortunately, it seems like Bethesda forgot this with Starfield. Type 1 and 2 bodies are a massive joke.
Perfection. I don't know about others, but my female sole survivor is no pew sitting church goer. SHe works hard, fights hard, and when she sits, she wants to relax. So thank you!! Well done.
Here's a mod that works well in addition if you think the normal walking/running female animations are too "Girly". It adds a more vide and rigid stance, how I imagine more Militarized people would walk while having that hip sway. Might not look good when you don't have a lot of equipment on your character, but if you do it's perfect.
People are getting mad that other people want to let their MC look comfortable, and are even getting mad that a woman wouldn't bother to sit ladylike in a post apocalyptic world? People are insane.
Honestly I'm torn. On one hand, not a single person I've seen sits like the female animation; most I've met just kind of pivot their legs to the side instead of the weird super strict position. However, on the other hand, there aren't a lot of females I know who sit splayed like the male animation, either.
I guess the bottom line is that Bethesda artists have no idea how people actually sit and we'll have to wait until someone with knowledge of human body mechanics makes a better version for both genders.
In the meantime, I suppose this is a decent tradeoff.

You can't just reduce it to gender and biology and let those limit what you think being feminine or masculine means. I love (and by love I mean hate) that this website is full of big tiddies and skimpy armor and "feminine" animations and yet the one second a mod pops up that gives the female protagonist options outside those frustrating Nexus community norms, it's suddenly a social commentary or "SJW" or whatever the hell you kids are calling anything that isn't edgy enough for you. Your petulant and childish attitudes discourage creativity and perpetuate a stale and repetitive modding environment. Mod authors quit because of people like you.
At the end of the day, you throw a tantrum about "modding freedom" when people complain about your throne of metal bikinis, and yet your hypocritical ass is over here bitching about an extremely simple, almost negligible mod that doesn't line up with your disturbingly narrow view of the human experience. so girls should always sit bolt upright, legs tied together with invisible cable ties and not in a relaxing pose like how the guys sit?
