I always use Heather Casdin and R4-04 together, but I think R4-04 has more dialogue than Heather, especially when it comes to the DLCs.
Kudos for making this mod. Atomic Radio is indeed a unique radio station in the Commonwealth. The script writing and voice acting are at that level of "better than Bethesda".
Thanks. I've been sticking with just one companion this playthrough and my staple is R4-04, but I'll sometimes give her a break and travel with Heather or Audrey. (Although Heather was my only companion, read: total butt-saver, 'til about level 75 or so.) We're so lucky that Llama and Kris have given us such top-notch characters.
And, yeah, every time I listen to Atomic Radio I'm astounded by its quality. It just never gets old, which is amazing considering how much I've listened to it.
