If someone can tell me how to activate a Perk in FO4Edit instead of console, please PM me. I'd like to change this mod to have Cannibal or Ghoul enabled just by loading it.

Did this mod break from the last patch(1.5)?

Yes, time to use another one I guess, not sure if this one is still supported.

It's not the patch, but Far Harbour. FH adds new ranks to several of these perks, which this mod doesn't recognise.

I used FO4edit to edit the 'Next Perk' and Perk Ranks records to reflect FH's changes, and everything is back to smooth sailing. It's a simple enough process if you're at all familiar with FO4edit.

Just add DLCcoast as a master to your perk package (Linear for me), so you can access the DLC03_Perkname entries for the 'next perk' fields. And don't forget to add level req overrides for these new ranks, too!
I had to delete the Night Person perk in my Linear mod ti make a fresh override from DLCcoast, because FH changed the effects fields.

I'm finished my modifications and we're back to normal.

Guess I'm screwed then since I know nothing of FO4edit...

I like the option you give us here.
It would be very nice to have a NMM-Installer though =)

Keep up the good work =)

I have no idea why you say it doesn't work with NMM. I have downloaded it with NMM twice, just to be sure that it is possible.

I believe by that he means an installer version that only adds the particular version we want to use, rather than adding all of them and then having to deselect or delete the ones we don't want activated. There are guides around about how to make an installer and set it up so people can choose which file to install... the only thing is you'd have to remember to change the version numbers in the installer before you archive it for uploading, which isn't hard, just sometimes hard to remember to do. But since you'll likely only be changing versions when you add more options, it shouldn't be hard to keep up with.

That's strange that you say that because I spent hours trying to find such a guide and had no good results.

I agree with this option. Having a FOMOD installer allowing the player to choose which ones they want, including a description right in the panels, is gold standard. Because it wasn't explained in the Readme, I had initially assumed a panel would open while I was in game or something.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Since quite a few perks are kinda "required", a lot of the character development becomes rote and predictable for each playthrough. Playing with a different class each time solves that problem and enhances the RPG experience.

Two suggestions - more classes! And instead of 25-50-75-100 for primary, secondary, tertiary, all else, might I suggest 50-75-100-125? That way you aren't inundated with a ton of great perks to choose from in the first dozen levels. And it slightly penalizes those perks that you didn't choose in your class.

This mod looks very enjoyable. I do have some confusion. How does the roleplay mod actually work? I downloaded the main and optional rp file. I unselected the plug ins and checked the plug ins I want and put in order. Example; I want to be an engineer so I check that and I want a -25% reduction. Does the reduction take effect for the perks for those corresponding classes? Or does it reduce all of the perks in the game? Is there some way of just selecting the class and having the perks for it available ONLY? What about SPECIAL? If you could, can you please suggest what mod I should checkmark and the order? I would like your suggestion of what I should do or set up in order to play an engineer class. Whats your suggestion of reduction or linear as well? For roleplay purposes obviously. Thank you.

Many of your questions are covered in the Readme tab. I'll try to put in a Readme file later. The engineer class is designed to work with vanilla FO4 but you can use it with the Linear rank mod. Just load the Linear rank mod first and the Engineer second. That means they both have checkmarks but Linear is higher on the list than Engineer. Te result would make the Engineer perks easier but every other perk a little harder.

Great work on the required level tweaks for perks, nice job. Really makes the game a lot more enjoyable. Any chance you can add a readme for your role play mod, there is no info on it. Does it work with existing characters, do I have to make a new game, can I run multiple role play esp ? Some info would be nice. Thx

Genius! been looking for mod that does this. Fallout 4 becomes a much better RPG with level reqs turned down/lowered. Its a great game, but with the high level reqs bethesda set, its impossible to specialize, which limits the game as an RPG, and the ability to create whatever type of character I want.

@burntphoenix Go to 'Plugins' tab. You will see it installs several mods, like: 'Perks_Req_Lvl_75%'. Make sure only one is selected.
  10. Is this NMM compatible? I've installed it but I don't see a way to choose what option
