Works well only if you never reload. If you reload, the rest of the ammo that was loaded in the gun is deleted when the mod gives you ammo back. Eventually you WILL run out of ammo even if you are using this mod.
so i did figure out i had something messed up when i was setting up my modding i fixed it but i still didnt get the halotape so i guess ill juse keep watching videos till i figure it out
actually i think i semi figured it out because i installed it correctly (at least i think so) and my game usually launches very fast but this time it was slow but i still dont have the holotape so now im wondering if ive been an idiot and you get it when you leave the vault because ive just been starting up new games getting the pip boy then checking my inventory with no holotape ._.
thats actually a good question lol never tried it like that. but its been tested using coc from the main menu dunno if what the game does if you dont even have the pip boy yet and how it handles the inventory never thought of it during the years ive made stuff
that seemed to fix it i got the holotape and now has infinite bullet also i know a exploit to this mod if you only have 1 bullet for a gun that can hold 500 like a minigun you can sell all but one of your bullets shoot that one bullet and you have another 500 meaning if theres a mod that lets npcs have infinite caps then you can pair that with the exploit and make infinite caps without using a glitch or anything lol
The holotape was in my inventory under the misc tab (mine was 3rd from bottom) it has 2 options, enable and disable.
I also play with the Horizon mod and the Zombie walkers mod enabled and this mod is an absolute godsend. I have upto 50 zombie hordes that are attracted to noise, they hit twice as hard (x2) and have full health. I have it that they can only get killed with head shots, humans turn to zombies shortly after they get killed. I also have them diving and jumping at me for the kill. basically that all means is that melee is out of the question and infinite ammo is the only way I can survive out in the commonwealth.
If the mod maker is still about thank you for a great mod.

for some people this works and for some it doesnt.
its more likely to not work if you use non-vanilla weapons.
the mod was tested on all pipe guns and shotguns along with hunting rifles and it worked fine for me. thats the reason ive released it.
make sure you have the holotape enabled that you have in the bottom of your MISC tab in your pipboy. if it doesnt work, use disable and re-enable
if that doesnt fix it, make sure youre not installing manually but through nmm
ALSO DO NOT CONVERT TO .ESL
you shouldnt convert mods with scripts to esl as they say
I've done the instructions, saying to disable before uninstalling but still doesn't work :c
Used infinite ammo feature from this mod instead.

It doesn't activate if you reload with any shots left in a magazine.
Wish it did, since I have a bad habit of making use of "tactical" reloads after downing an enemy.
