So I downloaded the mod from the bethesda mod hub, got into it fine. But how do I enable the master power? I tried to look at the power status from the console next to the elevator but it just looped back to the main menu thing. Am i missing something??
I am having trouble finding the 2nd holotape for the elevator controls. No matter my load order it still wont fix the issue. It keeps pointing me back to the desk. Do you have a screenshot and description of the holotape's location? It seems like there are many similar comments on this issue.
Nice layout, good detail. Needs a little more work because, ummm, well question: The VIP Information paper on the security desk says the bunker is for Trent Hall, 1 adult female, 1 female child, and 1 male child. How does this place sleep 4? Also, it would be cool if you added a Workshop. Please?
Maybe I am dense. But I have spent 4 hours on this godforsaken thing and I cannot figure it out. The quest says Investigate the Location. And the marker is 9 feet INSIDE the fence. I cannot find a way in. I have walked and jumped and investigated in 100 circles around it, for HOURS, ever wider, ever narrow, looking for 3 entire game days and nights.
I have no earthly idea WHAT I am supposed to find. And the quest marker is on the opposite side of the gate about 9 feet inside the fence according to the pip boy. Most frustrating impossible glitchy mod I have ever seen.
Is there any clue or hint? Most people who bother to make a quest put SOME information in it. "Investigate the areas" is so vague it is meaningless.
There's a gate at the side of the fence closest to the road, which I assume you would find after circling the fence after "HOURS". I do agree with you on terms that "investigate the area" can seem vague however I trust most people playing Fallout will have the common sense to use the fence :)
Please PM me if you have any further questions regarding the content :) -Huzzah
I seem to also have the problem with invisible power armor. It's still there, but I better not forget where I parked! When a companion takes off their power armor, theirs stays visible.
Apparently my system really hates something about the lighting. If light from the hydroponics room, secure-room-with-the-four-trunks, or any two rooms simultaneously is visible, my framerate drops instantly from 60 FPS to 1-2 FPS and the game becomes unplayably slow, even with godrays turned completely off. Turning lights off returns me to 60 FPS. I'm running an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 video card (several years old now) but its driver is up to date. It's good enough to give me a solid 60 FPS most of the time, dropping to 40 when there's lots of stuff going on, and my system is otherwise very stable.
This mod seems pretty nice if my video card didn't choke on it. Building stuff like this is hard; please take my comments here as purely constructive and spoken with an encouraging tone. Cheers!
I'll have to look into the power armor issue, however for now I'm definitely unsure what's causing it! Could be as luckyshot940 said a space issue, which can be easily rectified.
On the topic of lighting the interior cell is fully optimized, however I did not add lightboxes as I can remember so that may be what's causing it, once again unsure D:
I will definitely look over the issues reported as soon as possible. I've gotten back from a trip and I'm working on a huge project alongside others, so hopefully when I'm more free with time I'll have everything fixed :)
HuzzahBritain, A follow up. Since I posted this I have observed the same framerate problem in two other locations that are unchanged from the vanilla game. That suggests this problem is something on my end. One of these locations is the top floor of Fort Hagen, entering through the roof hatch when Kellogg and synths are inside. The other location is when you come out of the elevator into the middle of Trinity Tower. (Enter Trinity Tower at ground level, go up a flight of stairs, elevator entrance is there. Elevator dumps you out in an office reception area with two super mutants. Killing the super mutants didn't speed things up.) Just a few days ago Steam forced an "update" to FO4; maybe Bethesda broke something?
Changing my Lighting Quality setting from Ultra to High seemed to fix it in Trinity, but not Hagen and I haven't had time to troubleshoot further. I don't know enough about what you do (but I assume you wear a pointy hat with stars and comets or something) to know if any of this information helps.
I have NOT seen invisible power armor anywhere else.
I hope you find a fix! I remember having issues inside Fort Hagen however I haven't had any more since. I've not had much time to work on the mod however I'll try to replicate the invisible power armor and get a fix out asap.
The key should have a quest marker going to it. If you have any mod which edits the Fairline Hill estate cell then that may be why you can't find it. If the mod doesn't work for you however it does for others then I find your negative comments towards my mods unnecessary.
Do you have any mods which edit the Fairline cell? From what I remember there's several settlement mods which edit the cell, such as Vault 98. Try moving T-11 around in your load order.
The holotape is on one of the end houses, next to a skeleton leant up against the mailbox. Next time I'm ingame I'll post some screenshots of its location
