Thanks so much. It helped me to sort out the M-SAT attachment issue to my robot companion (ADA of course). Thus, I was perfectly able to continue to hunt down the Mechanist.
I got you fam, even though i'm almost 3 years late: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/44526 this mod fixes the frames at least for the assaultron claws it kinda fucks up the model when equipping them with assaultron blades though.
Some people have problems with the Automatron quest because they can't install the radar beacon or the M-SAT on ADA. I had both these problems. Lolikonshik's bat files (ADA FIX Automatron ) uses console commands to complete parts of the quest and move you on to the next stage. WJS solution to M-SAT problems shows how to use console commands to install the M-SAT to ADA. Easy fixes and a good help to completing the Quest
