started playing fo4 again today and used this super duper pretty preset however I do not know if this is the cause why my character has no voice talking to about any NPC in the game.
Editing this post it turns out a common bug so i log back in again and all is well. best looking preset!!!!!

-----Install Guide----- You can't just install this mod using a mod launcher as the file hasn't got the folder path location for it to know where to go. I've personally edited mine so it can be installed using a mod launcher.
Here's how to install manually: Download preset, go to where you have your Fallout4.exe installed too. Now follow this folder path, "Data\F4SE\Plugins\F4EE\Presets" now place the download in this folder.
If you want to be able to install it using a mod Launcher do the following: Create a new folder wherever you want preferably where you keep your other non-installed mods, name the folder "Data" then go inside it. Create a new folder called "F4SE" then go inside it. Create a new folder called "Plugins" then go inside it. Create a new folder called "F4EE" then go inside it. Create a new folder called "Presets" then go inside it, Download the Mirai preset and extract it into this location. Finally, go back to where you stored the first folder you created called "Data" right-click the Data folder and Zip it up, (If you're using WinRar press Add to "Data.rar") then right-click the Zip called Data and rename the Zip to "Mirai - LooksMenu Preset") now you'll be able to install this new zip you created using a mod launcher.
-----Dark Face Fix----- For me the dark face bug was caused by the additional file option on the "Looks Menu Customization Compendium" mod page called "HD DLC fix-24830-v10" after uninstalling that my face was no longer dark. (I don't know why I installed it when I don't even have the HD DLC installed)
Some people found the cause to be THBrows, the latest version might fix that or you can uninstall it.
If non of the above resolves this issue then there is another mod conflicting, so you'll need to go through disabling groups of mods at a time to work out which one is causing it.
-----Face Tattoo's----- Apparently the face tattoo's that are used in the screenshots are from the mod "Looks Menu Customization Compendium", (I haven't verified this) Here's the link: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24830
So strangely enough the first time I tried to create my character (important note this is the first time I've opened fallout 4 just downloading it and I opened it thru the f4se loader) she looked pretty normal but my screen resolution was tiny so I opened the fallout launcher first time to detect ultra settings and apply full screen and after that the character I previously made had a black face. After deleting that character and trying again with the new settings, she is now a blank face instead... I don't have any other mods loaded than what is supposed to be there.
Also if someone could share with me each option they chose for the customizable mod options like cbbe, fsm body, ect.. would be appreciated to make sure the issue isn't just different mod settings chosen would be very appreciated!
I managed to get it working thanks to your guide. I had to setup the looksmenu compendium items manually after loading the preset though. The only thing I can't find is that tear tatoo to replicate the screenshots.
I downloaded the hair mod pack and it doesn't show up in my customization options. How can I fix this? is there something I need to type in the console for it to work?
I downloaded many presets as I gained experience modding. Early on, I uninstalled many because either I didn't get the process, or they just didn't look right. This mod? This mod right HeRE, my guy? This mod is one of three that survived the purge. Not only does it look amazing, it was easy to install and worked right out of the box for me. Modifications of it are *still the look and feel I use in game.
doesnt work i have only enabled the required mods including light on face mod and she looks like a minecraft character and yes I followed the instructions.

Installing the mod "High Res DLC Black Face Fix" fixes the issue for some people (make sure to read the description)

-----Weirdly Shaped Face Fix-----
It appears the mod author left "MiscHairstyle" off the requirements list by accident. After installing that mod my face was the correct shape. (luckily I had it installed from testing out other presets, otherwise I wouldn't have worked that out).

I hope this helps :)
I think the face is always looking correctly, but the hair makes it look a bit sharper etc.
THANK YOU!!!!
Thanks!
