About this mod

This is a patch for 3 popular hairstyle mods that shortens the list of available haircuts in character creation without removing them from the game.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
To date, we have two and a half hairstyle mods that are basically must have:
- Ponytail Hairstyles by Azar v2.5a
- Commonwealth Cuts - KS Hairdos - ApachiiSkyHair
- KS Hairdos - Addon(s) with Physics

They're great, but nobody will ever use all of the haircuts, and with Bethesda unwilling to give PC players a proper interface that can handle hundreds of items without making it clunky and long, there's no way other than shortening that incredibly long list. So, here's the idea: I removed most of the incredibly elaborate styles that kill my personal suspension of disbelief right on the spot (after all, you're not maintaining that artsy curly towering mass of hair in the nuclear wasteland), and also some of the cool-and-edgy ones (like ones with shaved temples), so that my list will be nice and short. Then I thought that physically deleting them, while saving a lot of space and memory, will render so many companion mods or whatnot incompatible, so I just disabled them by setting the playable flag to 0.
Oh, and you'll also find some of the vanilla styles disabled as well. This is not a bug. I just didn't like them.

So, if you have the same general idea and also happen to share my inclinations on what belongs to Fallout universe, you maybe would find this one here useful. Enjoy!

PS: please note that this selection is not absolutely lore-friendly, nor it is going to be. I only did as much as it was necessary to get my suspension of disbelief back where it belongs and also clean up that huge-ass list in CC. That's all. So I probably will not make any adjustments except for keeping it up to date with its parent mods.
PPS: this patch does not cover male hairstyles. If you feel some of them defying your sense of propriety, feel free to post the offending styles' names and I'll likely update the patch to exclude them as well. That said, I'm not sure it will be necessary, as there's simply not as much male hairstyles to clog up the list so badly.
