I came back much later after importing the build and the power wasn't working. After I used tcl to go to the vault-tek generator I can't figure out how to get it to connect to the rest of the electrical. It actually almost looks like the entire electrical grid might be gone even. Could you post pictures with the correct electrical arrangement?
Also do you think it might just need a reload entirely?
Seems you have a bad import. In theory if you had an electrical grid to begin with after importing, you'd just need to run a single wire from the Vault-tek genny to any other power connector and it would work - the whole grid I built is connected to everything. There is no reasonable way I could post pictures of the grid itself. Also, I stopped playing FO4 like 2-3 years ago.
Edit: I'm not sure if you have realized I hid the generators outside of the build space? Maybe that will help? TCL through the wall behind the workbench slowly and have a look around.
This Home Plate of yours is tryley a work of art, yet that dosn't stop it from being ficitional. Bravo! But there are a few problems:
#1: My Sole Survovor coud walk up the stairs to the house's higest intrerel floor (the floor with the roof acess, above the bedroom), but coudn't walk back down. The Vault stuff abive the stars blocked him in. Forcnitley, it was easy enough to fix that with a bi tof scraping once I realized what the problem was. And I do mean just a bit of scraping: Only the bits above the stairs needed to be removed (I'll upload a picture at a later time).
#2: Some items can't be scraped without console commands (the command line). I recomond including instrutions on how to use the console commands to scrap otherwise-unstapable items, along with a warning not to scrap the workshop or other stuff that would cause probalms with the game.
#3: The items (such as duct tape) on the workbenches are pretty, but they can make it harder to use the workbench (sometimes when you try hover the mouse over the workbench, you get an option to take the items insted of to use the workbench). Of corse, the user is free to simpley take those items to get unimpraded acess to the workbenches.
I can use every crafting bench except the cooking stove. I just stand there and then it backs out as if access to the stove is blocked. Also, I personally remove the stairs overlapping the vanilla stairs since it's quite noticeable and not needed to walk up the steps.
But hey, everything else about it is great. Even if I accidentally pick up the clutter on the workbenches when I try and use them, minor nitpick but lived-in decor is always nice.
Odd. This build was thoroughly tested by myself and a few others and none of us had issues with the stove. However, there is another commenter below who says they had that issue and solved it by pushing the stove a bit further into the wall.
Since the stuff used to decorate is all actual game objects, you can pick them all up if you want (or accidently) - if you accidently grab something unintentionally, load a previous save.
As for the stairs, that was a design choice, but like all my builds I encourage users to modify it to suit themselves.
love it. just a little mad that my mannequins disappeared with all my priced armor on it, but i suppose that‘s on bethesda‘s f*#@ing mannequin glitch. tysm for this blueprint, i could never achieve such coziness.
A "freeze" is normal after importing a blueprint when it saves for the first time after... just wait for a while - like go get a snack or coffee or something and see if the game has finished when you return. This "issue" is documented in the TS help documents.
my character gets stuck when going in or our the office area. (the area where you have your typewriter and desk) The stairs are narrow and if i try to go up or down the stairs i can only do it naked and only after i bunny hop out of it or use TCL.
That's really weird. I tested this with my own character, even in power armor , and did not have that issue. Do you have a mod that changes your character's size by any chance? Or height?
I just ran some tests, and I think I've been able to figure out what the problem is. You can tell me if I'm right.
If you are looking up or straight out, and hug the wall to the left, you get blocked. If you move even a little bit to the right, the problem goes away. I was also able to duplicate this in the vanilla, unmodified home plate. Again - stay to the left, look to the left at about a 45 degree angle, and you still have the same issue. I suspect the issue is magnified by the narrow passage because of the wall.
Can you check it out? Try looking down, or moving a bit to the right, and see if that avoids the issue?
Nothing quite like the terror of sprinting around home plate while items rain from the sky trying to crush me, I eventually just squatted next to the urinal in terror. This is the best blueprint ever.

Sorry for your loss :( Hope you have backup saves?

I do have a question though. Anyone having any problems with the stove? I may or may not have a conflict some where that won't allow me to use it.
Umm, nope I don't know of any issues with the stove - it's vanilla so should be working properly. Any mods that alter vanilla items in your game?
