That's surely useful. Those radiant quest are more unnverving than silly. And they're quite silly. Although i've discovered that if you don't go to Preston after complete them after some time they get signed as completed and removed by themselves. (so you don't need to talk to preston at all)
By the way, there's around (or could you make it) a mod that removes the brotherhood of steel? Like they never come with the stupid flying ship?

can this safely be removed mid-game? preston refuses to give me the taking independence quest.
also I'm using the silent protogonist mod, is that going to mess with this mod?

Following was copied from the post thread for "Enough About the Settlements Already Preston".  I think the same method for the "Presto - No More Forced Radiant Quests From Preston" should work:

You do not need to start a new game if you can't get "Taking Independence", I managed to get it started even though I started the game with this mod.
      Solution:
      0. Backup your save
      1. Disable or delete this mod, "Enough About the Settlements Already Preston".
      2. Download, and enable, "Taking Independence Quest Fix":
      https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/33305
      3. Use the console command:
      "startquest 3a457"
      Followed by:
      "setstage 3a457 20"
      4. Talk to Preston. "Taking Independence" started for me.
      5. Disable or delete "Taking Independence Quest Fix"
      6. Finish the quest like normal.
      7. Re-enable "Enough About the Settlements Already Preston"

Hope it works, this solution took me an hour to find (mostly load times, tho).

Using Presto - One Quest at a Time Version and after a while you stop getting anything. Gave me about 3 missions then nothing after that.

Doesn't work, I have 3 or 4 settlement quest from him, just by fast-traveling to Sanctuary Hills with Preston as companion, didn't even talk to him.

the quest from Preston isn't bad all you have to do is not go their. NOW the defense of settler is the problem when you have defense up and settler with gun they don't need you that need to stop.

Will this let me TRADE with Preston?
Because the dumb*** has picked up a Gamma Gun, and when my Settlement gets attacked in a ghoul apocalypse because of a rad-storm (True Storms setting), he stupidly stands there shooting at the ghouls with the radioactive gamma gun.

As of right now, you must accept a new quest from Preston to get the dialogue that lets you trade with him. I will take a look at it and see if I can tie the quests to the 'Talk' option so that you can still trade or travel with him without accepting a new quest, but until I am more comfortable with the Creation Kit this might be as good as it gets. Sorry.

If you have console enabled, just do this:

      1) Walk up to Preston
      2) Open Console
      3) Click on Preston to select his reference. ( 0001a4d7 )
      4) Type this and hit enter: openactorcontainer 1

This works on anything selectable in game that also has an inventory.

      Thanks!
He keeps shooting the Children of Atom, Ghouls, and Supermutants with the Gamma Gun.
So even when he tries to help he's actually not helping.

This works pretty good. Now my concern is Radio Freedom dishing out 3 quests at a time instead of Garvey. Ha Ha.

That's easy. There's a switch at the transmitter to turn off the local speakers at the Castle. You can switch them off before you even power the transmitter up. As long as you don't tune your Pipboy to it, you never have to hear Radio Freedom!

How does this affect important missions like recovering the castle?
