It is bug in NMM, it happens to me sometimes when I try to download mods, servers are busy. Download it manually and put it into NMM mod folder, then you can install it through NMM or since i is just one plugin you can just put it into Data folder.
Unless you use Powerful Rapid Automatic Receiver or the Advanced Rapid Automatic Receiver this 4 magazines will break weapon, in the newest version of the mod. It is even mentioned in the Modular Simonov PTRS-41 Anti-Tank Rifle bug section several times. Not sure if that was the case with older version of the mod. It all happened because this 4 magazines missed tag. I myself do not use Weaponsmith Extended.
What was the tag you're referring to? I'm wondering if it's something I already fixed in WSE because I use the double drum mag with a semi-auto receiver.
