How does this mod work? Have you simply scripted a spawn of a lootable object to occur at all of the points of interest? I'm asking because I'm going through a mid-life crisis right now, and the sole cause of it is pre-combines.
I did, but from what I saw there was nothing explaining the behavior of the addition besides the addition of a lootable 'hidden' container that was brute-forced into the 110 or so half-empty empty dumpsters. Im wondering because I'm trying to cut down on visual glitches and precomb issues.
"Brute-forced" is a little harsh, how many mods add things?
Ok fine. I took a static rectangular piece of trash, converted it to a container, gave it a new ID and everything, and hand placed each one carefully into each empty dumpster making sure it fit with no visual glitches sticking out anywhere. That's literally the behavior of them. As for the precomb issues, it's fine. None were abused or touched or anything. The very first few posts explain this.
If you're concerned about issues then make a main save beforehand. If you have issues, remove mod and reload safe save.
So this is funny as hell to me because i recently encountered someone doing this and they got attacked by wasps any chance of adding a random chance of being mauled by some form of mutant insect from the game?
Ah yes, there is nothing more immersive than jumping head-first into a dumpster. Finally. I can relive my day to day life in my favourite game. Thank you.
This mod is great for immersion. It's such a natural add-on, I forgot it wasn't a part of the native game till I was adding a new mod today and saw it in the list. I love to dumpster dive in any game that will let me. Dumpsters for the win!!

Maybe a 1 in 25 chance or so?

in a good way
This is one of those things that makes you think "why wasn't this in the game in the first place"
Can you please make a VIS version :)
