I get the feeling from playing the Bleachers and getting some in universe opinions on the faction this might be a dumb suggestion (I mean lets call it what it is, a request from an un-artistic person who probably doesn't grasp the amount of time each one of these takes) but if you're still tinkering away at this in the distant future for the Vim! update, a "normal" Brotherhood of Steel logo wouldn't go unappreciated on at least one mook. I've been using the Outcast one for all my pretentiously lit castles but I figured I'd inquire.

Not that you totally don't have a much bigger project on your plate to be working on, y'know, copious free time and all.

I cannot get any items to show in any menu.
I ran the config repair and tried re-downloading and re installing mod + smm dependency mod. Still no option for this mod showing in any tabs whatsoever.
The items are showing in console help so the mod is installed but no tab or items are anywhere to be found. I have a few other settelment deco mods and they are all showing fine so not sure why this one isnt showing at all........Do I have to build a specific thing to get them to show up, like a terminal?
I had a look in the chem station for an install/uninstall tape or chem but there isnt one.
Not sure how to get it to work.

Edit: so I tried manual download and that also made no difference. The items exist as I can spawn them (would need a list and picture of each item though). Not getting anything in my settlement build menu.

    Hi once again!

So I'm a wee bit curious: I'm currently sitting here decorating my bar in Sanctuary, and of course this requires the Nuka-Cola lamps (a la real-world modern Bud Light pool table lights . . . so classy). There are eight "base" variants (Cola, Cherry, Quantum, Wild, Victory, Quartz, Grape, Orange), of which you've turned four into lights.

Do you have any plans to make lights of the other four? Or just stick with what's already there? I'd love to have a full set of 'em hanging out in my Bigass Tavern And Flophouse.

I'm not planning on expanding this mod any more than is already done. I'm working on my Fens Sheriff's Department mod currently.

Have you checked out my Nuka-Mix Lantern Workshop mod? It doesn't have exactly what you're looking for, but it has more lighting options that would look good in a bar.

      . . . . I have not, but I'm going to now.

I am now deeply intrigued, however, by the concept of a Fens Sheriff Department. Is that already out and just being updated, or is it something I'm gonna have to keep my eye out for?

The Fens Sheriff's Department is part 2 of a 2 part story. It will be out sometime next year.

"The Bleachers: A Diamond City Story" is the first part, and available now. If you like decorating, you'll like my interior cell styles. :)

I'm running into a strange problem. I built a library with window-walls, and some of the sheets of glass are . . . darker. Like some are almost comically bright and others look far more like realistic stained glass.

I actually really like the more realistic pieces, but I would also like to, you know . . . have consistency? How can I fix this?

Is the difference due to the angle you view at or because it's a brighter color?

It's brighter altogether, or rather, the "faulty" pieces are darker. I've walked around the entire building to be sure it wasn't just an angle issue, both inside and outside. It's not time of day, either--it's more noticeable at night, but you can still see it all through the daylight hours. Traveling to other cells and returning, or restarting my game, haven't helped either. (Although they did move the "dark windows." There are always two or three sheets with this weird coloration, but they're not always in the same place.)

I took some screenshots, so you can look here if that'd be more useful. I've edited in some arrows and such to point out the exact spot where the issue is, but the shots are otherwise untouched.

Hmmm... Looks like Bethesda's crappy FO4 shaders strike again. I'm not sure what to say other than maybe keep playing with the light sources behind them until they start to glow a little. This is a big problem with glass in the FO4 shaders and not having any real formal training on how it operates. There might very well be a fix, but I don't know what it is for workshop items. In the CK, I could set an external emission option to stop that, but that sort of thing isn't available with workshop placed objects.

Does the problem persist with other window color options?

Yeah, and with the library specifically it moves from place to place (I don't have any other huge walls like this to compare to right now). Last time I was in Sanctuary, only two panes were that weird cartoony-bright. Meanwhile the smaller walls I've put into settlers' homes tend to look just fine, but one of them decided one single pane was going to be a pain in the ass, and up in Tenpines I ended up with a door and a window that are supposed to match but . . . don't. Sometimes. If it's Fallout just being, you know, Fallout, I won't worry about it too hard. I just didn't want to have caused something that'd brick my save.

Oh, Bethany Esda. What would we do without you? (I mean, for a game this big some bugs should be expected, but, um . . . )

I don't know what could be wrong if it's not appearing even with a new game. What texture pack are you using? It might be overloading your system,

Is there a brighter version? Looks amazing! Just that I play with NAC X and darker nights. Or if you can tell me where to change the settings in the CC, I'd be much obliged. I am also voting for a leg lamp like the one in A Christmas Story! I really love the Nuka-Cola cooler!

If you use FO4 Edit, you can increase the "fade' and 'radius' settings on the light entries. Is that what you wanted to know?

      Actually... no.
Got lucky, the snap points on the floor lined up.
Then it was a few minor adjustment with PE, then I just stack them
