Download the "Advanced Tips" PDF at the bottom of the optional files in the downloads section. If you're new to posing this guide has my entire playbook on screen archery and scene staging.
There’s a section on posing with props. It can be quite fiddly, but getting it down opens up a lot of possibilities...
The mod is split into 3 sections, and you can download a separate PDF for each instead of the full version. There's also thumbnail versions of the three sections, and I prefer these when using the mod.
It's a lot of poses, and I know the full guide is cumbersome, so this was my solution to the problem. Hopefully you find it helpful.
Can anyone please explain how to use these animations on player character? I read the entire PDF but there isn't anything specific about executing these animations using console commands...
I was also wondering the same thing until I realized you need to click on your character in console command before entering the playidle. Hope this helps.
Took a while for me to learn too. The concept is quite easy actually, but the execution is a bit time-consuming.
To play a pose on someone, use: [NPC/player ref ID].playidle [idle ID] You can get NPC ref ID by clicking on an NPC in console command. You can see all the idle IDs in the PDFs provided by the author.
You can adjust NPC/object positions by using: modpos [x/y/z] [n] Choose between x, y, or z, and put some number after. For example: modpos x -20
You can rotate NPC/objects by using: modangle [x/y/z] [n] Choose between x, y, or z, and put some number after. For example: modangle z 30
Use this to use free camera with time stopped tcl 1
Whenever I do these commands nothing happens to my player or the npc I am trying to pose. The weird thing is that there is no error messeage in the command menu. If anyone could help I would apperciate it.
Regarding the Pose Refs file, does anyone know the pose ID for the guy sprawled on the ground?? (Tire Iron KNockout 2/a-pbs56) I've looked through the whole list and the only one I see with someone laying down is Wounded In Bed/a-pbs30, but that's not the same one I am looking for. Would appreciate the help <3
I don't understand why the mod author doesn't want to add a ring or gun to make it easier for people who aren't "tech savvy". I was really excited to use this mod until I found out that you have to type in numbers and letters to make the mod work. I just wanna mod and play my game, not spend hours trying to make my character pose.
i think a mod is preventing me from having legs above waist helght when standing.. i tried this mod becuase i see chunli 11 has a leg above that height but its the same again sadly. no matter how high i pose the leg in hkx poser, in game it is consatrained to max waist height. anyone know what the conflict could be?

I've started work on version 2. It'll be awhile, but check back in the fall and hopefully I'll have an update!

Then use this to disable HUDs

Edit: Got it fixed
How did you managed to make it work?
Why isn't there any thing in the PDF guide that gives an example as below
playidle gp1/play.idle gp1
All the poses have too much context in the reference ID to figure out how to put into the console and get the poses to work?
Does anyone have a regular listed commands like I typed above?
it can be a real pain to get them to work sometimes (especially indoors), but it’s possible.
EDIT: Fixed it but how do you keep the weapons when using aaf
