The author put that the mod Quiet Robots is a mod requirement to be installed for this mod to work. That's not the case. But, both mods have edits that the other does not. So having both is recommended, or just merging the two if you know how to do so.
I compared this mod and the Quiet Robots mod, and there were a few sounds that are actually louder than Quiet Robots makes them, but still quieter than normal. Anything in this mod with a lower "static attenuation" than Quiet Robots, I just copied over into this mod, because I want the robots to be super quiet. Haha. (The higher the "static attenuation", the quieter the sound.) Thank you for this! Endorsed!!
Yeah, it looks like you removed the note saying Quiet Robots is required. It no longer shows when downloading the mod. After playing around with these mods, I found the footsteps are definitely way too quiet. I've had robots sneak up on me and scare me because of this! I'll have to make some changes because of that. Haha.

I have only slightly reduced the steps of the robots, in the mod "Quiet Robots" are reduced.
The steps did not bother me much, but the noises [especially of Assaultron's torso] were very annoying in quiet places.
