This is a cool mod for sure, but I'd love to see a similar version for armaments. It seems faintly ridiculous that the Sole Survivor can establish settlements and create supply lines between them, but have zero control over them. My biggest issue is that stockpiles of armor and weapons can't be transferred between locations and are essentially marooned unless you scrap them. It would be awesome to have a mod where you can walk up to the caravan leader (has to be one of your assigned settlers) and say "take a random 2000 weight shipment of armaments to the other end of the supply line." (Probably by playing a holotape.) You could then either centralize all your items or distribute them to your settlements (for better defense or monetization). It'd be even more glorious to actually make a caravan have an "inventory" function that you could load yourself from the workbench, but that might require too much effort!-)  Just a thought for the future...

Would be very cool to be able to have the same concept but for food, for places where growing crops may seem out of place or isn't possible.

Edit: I cleaned up the reply so it is not an exact match. Have a great October :)
Because there are no bugs to squash and this mod is up there with 5 times longer wires when it comes to not having to overbuild to get a functioning settlement.
The edits are in all caps. I added double spaces after periods. I double checked spelling. I condensed some sentences and elaborated on a few points. Feel free to use it. I added a no caps version as a reply for you to copy and paste at will :)

"I was really annoyed BY HAVING to build 5 pumps in ANY settlement THAT DIDN'T HAVE a river. Other OPTIONS exist, but THEY require a lot of energy or THEY look like I'M cheating. This mod allows YOU FOR a lore friendly way to facilitate A WATER supply.

    Roleplay :
You can now build an office and assign a settler who will be in charge of the purchase of clean water for the settlement. With a small investment THE SETTLER will conclude an agreement with A caravan to deliver water regularly TO the settlement . THE SETTLER will manage the WATER SUPPLY AND MAKE ALL the PAYMENTS WITHOUT YOU HAVING TO BE THERE.

    Gameplay:
YOU can craft a "caravan water" in resource> water. THIS costS X caps AND IN RETURN PROVIDES EIGHT water. No OTHER REQUIREMENTS. All you need is THE resources TO BUILD THE OFFICE, A SETTLER TO WORK THE OFFICE, and THE caps for THE TRADE DEAL."

I was really annoyed by having to build 5 pumps in any settlement that didn't have a river. Other options exist, but they require a lot of energy or they look like I'm cheating. This mod enables a lore friendly way to facilitate the water supply.

      Roleplay :
You now have the option to build an office that you can assign a settler who will be in charge of the purchase of water. With a small investment this settler will make a trade agreement with a caravan for the delivery of water on a regular basis. That settler will manage the water supply and make all the payments automatically.

      Gameplay:
In the workshop you will find 'caravan water' under 'resource' > 'water'. Caravan water costs caps and in return it provides 8 water. No other requirements. All you need is the resources to build the office, a settler to work the office, and the caps for the trade deal.

I finished proof reading the post. I read through it multiple times out loud to ensure it rolls off the tongue.

Well, you can always set up a square of earth for cultivation and install an electric water pump on it... it actually works. Saving a mod space, and two more water rations per pump.;-)

Hey. I really like the concept. Perhaps there's a chance to add more variants? I mean with more or less water, or even other things like food? Cause yeah, like the whole 'caravan-concept', so to speak.

I had in mind to do 2 office, one with pure water and the other with dirty water. Maybe I'll do it later.

For food, I already have the mods "sim settlement" and "northland digger" that allow to quickly get food.

Looks like you put a lot of effort into the workbench, it looks really nice.

    Alternate version idea...
A small cabin, or open fronted place with a roof, with your workbench inside. To put on a river, so she has a bit of cover from the weather.

Your main character looks really nice, I hope she comes with the mod...

The alternate version is just an idea, if you don't like it, or can't be bothered to make it. Then just ignore this post...

I confess that I am not specifically motivated to redo another mod.

For the girl ... I don't know how to make a companion, and I didn't create it. This is this body https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/30878, this texture https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1608 and this face https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/31593.

The best thing to do would be to use the command "showlooksmenu" to paste the good face on a follower.
