it doesn't actually work very well, i spawned in a underground hole, and i was a smoothskin, and got no holotape either like the message says. I have only a few cosmetic mods for terrain and trees, nothing fancy that could mess this up.
restarting the game didn't do anything either, still a smoothskin, impervious to radiation.
so it only seems to work partly.
EDIT: so i used player.setrace ghoul in the console and that does the trick, but nora still has her nose and it looks weird. also, i went to codsworth first instead of the vault and she started the conversation just like always. so i just reverted to an previous playthrough. I don't like it when things are half done, so this is not for me. Hope someday someone makes a proper mod for it.

Did you check if your 'unfancy' mods alter the cells the mod author specifically said need to be left untouched? Since your other mods alter terrain and trees I suspect they conflict with Ghoulified, so stop blaming the mod and author if you don't bother to read the description or know how to mod properly.
I installed this for having the option alone. xD Also turning my lvl 65 SS into a Ghoul after years of stress in the wasteland jsut makes too much sence to NOT do it. <3 Like we germans say: The liver grows with its tasks.
Hey buds, for anybody that keeps getting a 'softlock' I'm going to post this here, this will fix the bug: When your a ghoul, and wanna turn back human, click yourself ingame via console ~ Then type "player.setrace human" (without quotation marks). This will turn you back human again. And when you wanna turn back into a ghoul, type: "player.setrace ghoul"
You'll like it if you wanna like use the memory den and play as an old memory, but wanna be a human again. I've been struggling with this awesome mod for a long time, and just found this out today.
So... have they been in a two hundred year long coma? Or has this added far more post-apocalypse savvy dialogue in notably scratchier sounding voices for our heroes?
Hey I have a problem. It does not work for me i made a new character made some changes to his apperance but when i go for the birdge the bombs go off and my guy dies.what am i doing wrong?do i have to let his default look on?
i doubt it, i've never heard anything like it before, you may be able to use cmd's to reset you players apperance back to one of the original presets but thats something youll need to tryout for yourself.
