Few years late to the party, but oh well. Those white dots are actually reflectors, which was, and still is to some degree, a common way to get road signs noticed at night
Few years late to the party, but oh well. Those white dots do look pretty damn good, I must admit. Can't say I'm too fond of the vanilla signs though, not enough to not install this mod.
The faded stop sign is very authentic, especially after over 200 years. There are stop signs in my town that are even more faded since they face directly into the afternoon sun with no shade.
Just wanted to thank you for this great mod. This has been one of my must haves for a long time. They really look great in game. My only grip with the signs in this game was Bethesda choosing 75mph speed limits. I'm from the Boston metro area and highways up here have a 65mph limit at most. Who knows its the Fallout Universe so they can do whatever they want. My immersion meter just gets broken every time I see those 75mph signs lol :) Thanks again.
I made a very large compilation a couple weeks ago. It was to large for the forum so it got chopped in half. I fixed it and have re-released the "Ultimate Fallout 4 Compilation". There are a number of your mods promoted in this list and this one is staying up. Let me know what you think
I can't imagine playing the game without this mod; the textures are so authentic and immersive, and a vast improvement to the former signs. Thank you so much for making these and sharing!
The street signs were the first textures I saw that I didn't like. I got so used to NMC's texture pack in Fallout 3/NV over the years and grew to love his road sign textures especially, particularly the STOP sign as I see that as being the 'signature' sign, if you like.
I definitely prefer your re-texture over the vanilla textures, so I've endorsed, but I'd really love it if you tried to go for something in vein of NMC's road signs. I think he got the amount of degradation just right.
