Went looking for a fix for this quest because I noticed the Brotherhood soldiers immediately jumping out of the vertibird, and it was bugging the hell out of me. I also figured this was why they weren't actually showing up at the battle. This patch fixed it. Nice work.
Are you using latest F4 NG? if so the tools do see more now and most old mods will have ITM records not shown earlier. Should be safe to clean. I'm rebuilding my mod list atm and can't test it yet, but this fix is on my list to be reinserted, UF4P is not.
I was looking for a mod for this quest, hoping to find a pacifist resolution somehow... I guess this one will stay in my quest log forever. My character is a "friendly diplomat" and is allied with all factions, so... :(

Absurd. The Unofficial Patch does no harm at all. And why on Earth are you here using/defending THIS 'patch fixer' if that is how you feel? What a total lack of logic.
While you're perfectly fine to come here and ask if this can be added to a mod like UF4P, I don't appreciate your insulting of users of my mod. Everyone has their own opinion when it comes to mods and they are right in that there are many reasons why some people don't use a mod like UF4P. For example, the amount of changes made, due to how bethesda has made the game, can sometimes cause unintended consequences-particularly when said changes are then changed again by other mods. Then you have stuff like the rollback of a build of UF4P due to the way bethesda coded settlers making one of their fixes break the game for people.
Some people like to know exactly what a mod changes and see for themselves, so prefer smaller fixes where they can see if it does what it says. Then, if it does, merge it into their own custom patch which fixes bugs they themselves have found-instead of having 100s of changes made that they don't know about.
So as I said at the start, everyone has their own opinions and reasons for it so if you feel that everyone should be using UF4P that's fine but that is your opinion and I will not have you insulting users of my mod or belittling the time I have spent on this by saying that only they can fix it 'properly'.
Does no harm at all? Please. I've lost count of how many times it broke my game. Speaking of a lack of logic, you've failed to show proof of that UF4P doesn't harm the game. There are tons of users out there who would disagree with you. Myself included.
Unfortunately, yes, UF4P is rather harmful - it fixes insignificant issues and adds more significant ones in process. Also, it doesn't fix this particular quest, even though the problem is years old. Because, you know, fixing real issues is harder than patching texture alignments here and there.
Just because numerous people would disagree that UF4P can't be harmful doesn't mean they're right. That's bandwagon rationale. But I will say that I too have never heard of that mod being harmful, have not noticed issues in my game with it in there (and my game has over 250 mods installed) and issues that did appear were from other faulty mods.
here's my 2 cents while yes the Unofficial patch team does sometimes ignore bugs or patches insignificant things such as changing jack cabot to his old version therefore making lorenzo's artifact gun unobtainable (this is nothing new and can easily be fixed by just pointing out to the team that such and such wasn't actually a bug while arthmoor is.... well i'm not going to speak on him the other team members are rather level headed and often will listen to you as long as you are respectful) , not once has it ever broken my game (please do proper testing before jumping to conclusions most bug reports by users are mod conflicts or other mods breaking things i've thoroughly tested all the "bugs" reported and not once has it been the fault of the unofficial patch it's always the other mods fault for not forwarding keywords or reverting things or simply completely deleting something from the unofficial patch (only one mod i used did that and i reported that to the MA and it was fixed) patches exist for a reason and it's stupid easy to make one yourself with FO4Edit) if you don't want to use the ultimate bug fixer fine but please don't spread misconceptions about it. it will not break your game Trust me i have over 300 mods and not one issue i've had could ever be traced back to the unofficial patch. i for one will be reporting this bug to the unofficial patch team because i'd rather not have to take up another mod slot and likely push my PC past it's limits
For some reason the quest wont start the troops are at the landing point south of Rayburn point but the captain is missing and just nothang poping on the pip boy Might be because Dima is already dead via the way it should be quest but it makes no sence to me why the brotherhood wont falle out the synths even if that's so
Idk if i did something unusually wrong, but the vertibird doesnt start at all, it just stays there even if i fast travel somewhere else and back. when i enter arcadia no one else than the synths are there and dima and some others just cant die, they will only lying on the ground and heal after some time and attack again :/
