      I totally agree with you, and it's at the Federal Surveillance Center in the Glowing Sea.

      Congratulations, your comment is now the optional spoiler.

      As LtSalty said it can indeed be found at the bottom of Federal surveillance center K-21B in the glowing sea.

    It doesn't work. I made a bashed patch and seems to conflict with this. could this be possible?

    By the way the "Morton Residence" in Nuka World still has a frame that needs its level list modified as it still can generate X-01 pieces.

    Just curious is the X-01 in Nukaworld replaced with an earlier model power armor?

      <deleted earlier comment>
      Found an earlier post the mod author says he left it in the game.  So I am still looking for the mod that I have that removed it.

      the X-01 was a prototype armor, the enclave made the T-60 based on the T-45d to upgrade their T-51b, but after they got the schematic of X-01 and possible the Midwest Power Armor soo they develop their own X-01 Mk II Advanced, X-02 MkI and their unique X-03 Powered Combat Armor.

      I believe the mod that removes the Nuka Cola X-01 is "Power Armor Lore Overhaul".  It replaces it with another copy of the T-51 Nuka Cola power armor.

    At last, the perfect X-01 rarity mod! Thank you for making it.

    Absolutely essential for a realistic, lore-friendly playthrough.

    Something that doesn't seem to help the contention here, is that even Bethesda can't seem to decide how the Advanced Power Armor/X-01 even came to be.

      I think the canon goes that the X-01 suit was still in development but the bombs dropped before it could be mass produced. It was probably finished and in the final stages of production but the bombs dropped before any could be deployed on the battlefield. As for why there's so many, I don't think they're meant to be so common, that's just another game mechanic going against the lore.

      Yep! Since the base game use leveled list for everything, the armor model mounted on a newly discovered power armor frame is determined by your level. To bad that you start droping X-01 parts when you reach lvl 25. In fact, I find harder to find T-51 models than T-60 and X-01 in a normal playthrought.

    Thank you. And by all means, do make a mod reducing the frequency of T-60 (and/or just removing it, frankly).

      Brotherhood Power Armor Overhaul (BPAO) changes the frequency of the Brotherhood's use of T60. Only Paladins have T60. Most others wear T45 and a couple have T51. Doesn't affect other placed PA in the game.

      Common T-60 suits makes sense lore-wise though. Boston had a lot of military activity going on so an abundance of T-60 suits makes sense.

    Is there a version that keeps the one that can spawn in 35 Court?
