    Could not recruit Codsworth, trigger in concord is not working or something. If anyone interested in that, I made a mod to bypass mq102 stage 50, and enable early recruitment of Codsworth, its here https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/77699

    LOOT says this is incompatible with Start Me Up Which is funny because that mod is literally a requirement.

    Edit: I guess it's worth noting I am using the Redux version so there might be some problems. Hopefully non game-breaking.

      You cant run this mod at all if this is not solved

      @363rdChemicalCompany I've been able to run the mod just fine without an issue despite the loot error. I'm not sure what might be preventing you from running it other than another mod conflicting.

      Update:

      I ran this with Redux start me up and it ran just fine.
      Except after a while I felt bad for Nick and tried to rescue him but this mod does not allow for that.
      So he had tp stay in thevault.

      You can maybe try using SKK Fast Start Reunions, as another commenter suggested. Not perfect, but allows Nick to be a companion iirc

    Loot tells me that the Star Me Up mod is incompatible XD when it requires it .... and the worst thing is that after the Kellogg cinematic of killing the father you can't get out of the capsule xd

    Because I hated seeing Ellie at the Agency depressed and seemingly never leaving despite saying how she's going to pack up, I tried making SKK's Fast Start Reunions mod load after this mod.
    Results: It worked. Even the scripted dialogue when you enter his agency feels natural enough. As if you just came in just as Nick returned to his office after a hairy situation.
    There were some issues like:
    Ellie thanks you for no reason in context.
    It force starts quest Reunion.
    Fort Hagan can't be completed due to elevator being inoperable.
    Adding Vault 114 and Fort Hagan on the map.
    It would be neat if these two mods could work better.

    I am trying to get this to work with Sim Settlements 2, and I am continually running into an issue where Preston will not talk to me what so ever even after I've cleared out the museum.  Sim Settlements 2, unfortunately, seems to rely on the completion of "When Freedom Calls" because otherwise, the Stranger will not talk to me either.  I am at my wit's end here as I've been trying to get it to work for the last hour or so at the time of writing this and have gotten no results.

    Edit: Issue has been resolved.  New game start was required.

    Edit 2: Even after the new game start, the issue still persists except it only starts happening after talking to preston and getting the power armor.

      (you may encounter Preston when you exit out of the museum walking to his hiding place just ignore him, you can not interact
      with him nor will he start the quest)
