Hi. It's great to see that someone takes the trouble to help to get a solution to a "Game Breaking Instance" that spoils the Game your Playing. There is also an instance where when you go back to Valentine's Office to explain the Killing of your Wife/Husband and kidnapping of your Son and when Valentine asks you to take a seat and explain to him your story "He sits in the other chair facing the wall to the right of the Office and "not the one facing the Entrance of the room, the game doesn't progress as the subject change and you then you cannot tell him anything about the experience. From that point on you cannot regain the conversation to then progress any further in that you don't get the chance to go and find Kellog and continue the Game. So I hope you might be able to also "FIX" this occurrence because it's also frustrating to not be able to continue the Game. I have never experienced the Dr. AMARI Instance but have had this one on two occasions. cheers Bigfoot
I've never encountered that specific bug. One of the frustrating things about all of this is the handful of game-breaking bugs you can run into that don't affect everybody. Other times multiple people report a bugged quest, but they all have different problems with it. I had a bug during Call to Arms earlier this year where Danse refused to enter ArcJet. Instead, he just ran back to the police station. The coward.
Since I've never run into the bug on my own, I'd need a save file (and preferably mod list) from someone who has. As long as it's still bugged when I load it up, I'd be able to start testing.
?And yet this is exactly the problem I'm having right now.
But you dipped out over 3 years ago, so I'm just wasting my time by typing this.
I don't check back often, but I'm not entirely gone. I realize you posted this a month ago, but I'm still open to testing bugs if someone has a save file where it's occurring.
this happened to me once and it was very frustrating, thanks for this. Is it possible to install mid save? for instance if i have a save right before i sit in the chair and I DL this mod and activate it, will it solve the issue?
As long as you're experience the specific bug that shows up when Nick is sitting in the chair next to the memory lounger, it should work. The two screenshots I took are about 30 hours into my current play-through. The "Before" one is without the mod activated, and the "After" one is with it activated. Even if Nick is already sitting in the chair and silently staring off into space in your save, it should still trigger the dialogue once you load it with the mod enabled.
