@R97R Is it possible that you can make your new skins can be random spawned with vanilla weapons ? Similar like this mod does : https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/28396
Can i ask why its so big compare to your armor camo's?(Those are prety cool btw) Are guns just so demanding or they are in some 4k hi-res psycho resolution? And does it have some bigger impact on the game besides that it will look neat? Not sure how this works Thank you
My character turned invisible, weapon skins were available in the workbench, but skins didn't actually appear. Uninstalling it didn't fix it. 10/10 would mod again.
No, I don't have any other mods besides some settlement mods, so it's def not a mod conflict
If the issue still persists after uninstalling it, then it isn't caused by this mod. I'd recommend downloading another weapon skin mod to see if those appear correctly, and/or redownloading this one (that fixed the issue for someone else who experienced it a few months ago).
As for your character turning invisible, I have no idea what's causing that, but if it you reload a save before installing this and it's still there its definitely not caused by this: this mod just adds some new material swaps, OMODs, and recipies, so it shouldn't affect characters at all.
Thats like the first rule of modding Allways do hard save before you go and instal new mod,so you have point where to revert if things go wrong. Try that new mod for while-hour-day before continue on the safe.. if i like it i keep it,if dont -uninstal and revert to that save i did before.
As i understand it pure skin mods or things that only add object in game and dont edit anything else should be ok to uninstall...so this should be ok?
joining in late... but i wanted to say i love this mod and wish there was more weapons added to it as there is a few i frequently use but only thing that changes is the scope skin for some base game weapons and noticed none of the DLC weapons have the skins too. but other wise. awesome mod still. thanks.
Could be a mod conflict? It uses the same slot as the Creation Club skins, so anything that stops them showing up will also prevent this mod from working. Any mods that affect weapons may remove the Paintjob keyword, but there's a patch (Originally designed for AWKCR) that will usually fix this.
the only gun mods i use are: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23566 https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9343 https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/29331
Either of the first two mods could cause it, if the .esp may edit weapons, it may remove the keyword used to add skins. I'd assume this is the case if the other mods work, as the armor mod works in an identical manner to this one.
I'd recommend trying the game with both of those mods disabled, and see if that helps. I've found quite a few mods on the nexus unintentionally remove the Paintjobs keyword.
the patch works! thank you! a few suggestions: -the laser rifle needs more camo on it! -i get a pink colour on the laser rifle with the navy camo -the flecktarn dots are too tiny. make them bigger like the tropen tarn
I'll look into these when I can- is that the regular LR or the Institute one? And is it the whole gun or just parts of it? There might be a texture missing
@anonymousgammer740 that seems odd- does it crash as soon as you enter the weapon bench? If so, that doesn't sound like something this mod could cause alone, maybe the patch is conflicting with something?

If you ever get around to updating this mod, camo paints for the Handmade Rifle would be appreciated.

It's just cosmetic, so it doesn't have any effect beyond looks

A settlement with railroad camo robots and settlers would be awesome.
