New version 01.2 - can be used for 1st install or to update from older version.
- Fixed an issue which caused Curie not to be properly added as sleepmate. - Fixed an issue where the ring's script stopped running after it sat too long in a follower's inventory. - Added persistency to Duffle Bag for users who like to use their sleeping bag in settlements or as a semi-permanent camp. - See ReadMe in files or in Docs tab for more details.
When updating, you'll need to retrieve your companions' rings, drop them and pick them up again to reinitialize the script. Alternatively, you can dump the old ones and craft new ones (same result). When you give a ring to a follower, a new message should now tell you that this companion will now share your sleeping bag. Sorry for the minor inconvenience about the ring, guys - couldn't find better ways to workaround the game's inventory management system.
Please note that it still requires F4SE - and it still doesn't work in survival (I tried - but honestly, the HC management system is a nightmare!)
F4SE. Guys, make sure you have installed F4SE properly for this mod to work in your game. If you have doubts, check Gopher's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hoapvrohsd0 And make sure you reinstall F4SE properly everytime the game gets an update or a patch. Bethesda's updates and patches systematically overwrite F4SE's files - which is bound to "break" all mods which require it.
.INI TWEAK TO ENLARGE 3rd PERSON POV for those of you who might be interested: Here's the small ini tweak I use in my game if anybody's interested: in Documents\My Games\Fallout 4, in the Fallout4.ini file, add:
[Camera] fVanityModeMaxDist=400.0000
If that section doesn't exist, create it. The default value is fVanityModeMaxDist=150.0000, so if 400.000 is too large for you, you can test different values in-between. But just for flexibility, I like to keep it at that in the .ini and adjust it in game to my likings.
Somehow this mod does not work no matter where I tried to put the bag (in Pip-Boy). I just hear the falling but get always message that I can't do it "here". I tried on flat and clean roads, flat landscape grounds (on grass). Inside houses (floors). Nothing worked.
I have ModOrganizer2, Buffout4, CompanionsAlsoNeedToEatAndSleep, UnlimitedCompanionFramework, CreateFollowers, BetterCompanions NoConflicts, VisibleCompanionAffinity, DualSurvivors Nate CompanionMod (even so I play as male character), HUDFramework, AdvancedAnimationFramework (and Themes, Poses, Animations), FALLUI (and all related mods), WorkshopFramework, WorkshopPlus, Homemaker, ArmorAndWeaponKeywordsCommunityResources, AarmorsmithExtended, ScreenArcherMenu. Maybe this helps, because I think these mods could be not compatible.
Love this mod! Though, if it is possible would we be able to see an update with an option to save the orientation of where seats and campfires are located in relation to the sleeping bag?
Really cute mod, dig that Dogmeat can crash at my feet while I'm camping out under the stars. I assume you're not updating to add bed functionality, and people are using the old See You Sleep or Draco Torre's Sleep Intimate mod (from LL). Just FYI Draco's mod is essentially like Go To Bed for Skyrim, with undressing functionality, and also AAF support.
like another person mentioned, turning off sleep as a need to make this compatible with AN76 is well worth it. this is the wholesome content i signed up for!!!!!
I've resorted to using this with AN76 with the sleep requirement disabled. Basically I use it for atmosphere and to pass the hours when it's too dark to see anything without my flashlight on. It works, just not as strictly as I'd like.
I haven't played or modded FO4 in quite a while, but I just want to say what a joy this mod is. It's structured perfectly and facilitates wonderful moments. Thanks SO much for creating this, it's fantastic!

Kudos for your work!!
I love the mod, but sleeping doesn't effect the need for sleep, unfortunately. Thanks for any help with this!
