Hey I love the idea, simple question does it mention the increased range in the perk tree description? I've press 'alt' to see the higher levels and it makes no mention.
Got a bit of a weird question...is the doubled range supposed to add crazy amounts of damage to single-shot rifles? Because now my Holorifle does 1900+ energy damage after installing the new version.
No it is not. I will look to see what my bug is. This goes to show that copying and pasting working code does not always work. Especially when I don't do proper testing. I don't know what is wrong, but I cannot get Rifleman 4 or Rifleman 5 to work correctly when I try to put in range multipliers. So I have used a brute force approach of making the extended range version have Rifleman2 give a 1.5, and Rifleman3 give a 2.0 range multiplier.
That is literally a matter of changing two numbers in the esp. You only need to open the file in FO4Edit/xEdit, open the esp, select the perks (right click in the right window and select "Hide no conflict rows", that one is optional but helps with readability) and scroll to the very bottom. There you change the "Float" Number to whatever you want. It's simply a multiplier that multiplies the basic range by whatever number you enter there.
It seems our handgun range is still nearly double what we can manage with a rifle... but this could be due to a mod we are using. Can't say for sure... we use so many!
But it's a heck of a lot better than it was, so... ENDORED!
