Thats a completely different model. The one in the 500slr weapons mod is based off the temp gun Vash used when he was getting his repaired. This gun also deserves its own proper break action animations instead of being rigged to the .44 like every revolver is. Animations should be more like the MP-412 (Another break action revolver)
ah u obviously didn't use the one put there as it is not rigged to the 44 at all .. so do not understand how can comment without looking at the work and the model there is the one here with 3 variants avail .... really wonder why bother converting
I feel like anyone who does turn this into a real mod should make it compatible with Knockout Framework. Vash put a lot of effort into ensuring that this gun never inflicted lethal wounds.
You do realize it was Vash himself with his aim that made the gun less lethal by choice of his moral standards rather then the gun itself being non-lethal in design right?
the barrels position bugs me your round would not go out the barrel with it bellow where the hammer would strike the firing pin , unless the firing pin is lower on the revolver unlike regular ones then it could work long as there is a block from the hammer hitting one of the extra rounds in the cylinder then yeah that could work.
The gun from the anime is loosely based off the real-life Mateba Autorevolver, which in fact has the barrel on the bottom. The Mateba uses a custom firing mechanism to transfer the trigger impulse to a bottom mounted firing pin.
It is also somewhat unique for a revolver in that it uses the recoil from each shot to assist the rotating of the cylinder to the next shot, similar to non-revolver semi-auto pistols. Thus the name "Autorevolver". Most other revolvers use purely the muscle power of the shooter to rotate the cylinder.
The .454 Casull variant is possibly the world's most powerful semi-auto pistol.
They nomenclature for either barrel positions is referred to as the "12 O'Clock" and the "6 O'Clock" 12 being the top portion and the 6 being the bottom portion, real life revolvers aside from the Mateba, have used the 6 O'Clock barrel positioning.
Vash's revolver itself is a bit of a mish-mash of various real life revolvers like the Colt Single Action Army 1873, the S&W M29, Webley revolver types and the Mateba.
