The simple and obvious solution could be to just NOT do the Emergent Behavior quest, but i do not know what the consequences of that would be (at the very least, simply ignoring that quest, will block some additional dialogue/comments Curie will get access to after the quest is finished), and just set the global variable Curie_AffinityCondition_PlayerCompletedQuest to 1 using console, to remove the cap on Curie's affinity. Still, i do not know the consequences of doing just this, i never tested it, so i recommend trying the next solution instead.
The safer and cleaner solution would be to try doing what the mod does, which is to fail the Emergent Behavior quest (COMCurieQuest) by setting it's stage to 9000, then set quest COMCurie to stage 407("Friendship Done"), and then remove the affinity cap. That is what this mod does (apart from slight dialogue changes), so it is tested and proven to work as part of natural progression of the Emergent Behavior quest - meaning, i didn't try it while that quest wasn't even started, or while it was in some other specific stage than whatever the stage is when the dialogue mentioned in description triggers. So, if you want to play it safely, wait until the Emergent Behavior starts, and THEN use the following console commands: (or if you are brave/impatient, you can try to do it right away, but come back after a while to let us know if it worked OK) setStage COMCurieQuest 9000 setStage COMCurie 407 set Curie_AffinityCondition_PlayerCompletedQuest to 1 ...let us please know if it worked, maybe it would be of interest to others.
I would think the mod should work regardless of language, but of course you never know with this game :)
But it could be also a load order issue - try to move the mod as low as possible and see what happens, or preferably, if you can, just fire up xEdit and look for anything overriding any records changed by this mod. Also, this mod comes with a modified script (topic info fragment) TIF_COMCurie_0010F0F8.pex If any other mod overrides that script, it will break this mod, so make sure that isn't happening.
I just used another way to romance Curie as a robot) I read the pinned comment, and tried using console commands, as you suggested to another person. So far everything seems to be working. Nevertheless, thank you for your answer)
I believe it should be safe, but never tried myself. Obviously, if you remove the mod, you will loose the dialogue changes the mod does, so you may occasionally hear Curie speaking about herself as if she was a human while she is still a robot.
I guess I chose the wrong dialogue option (idr, this could've been solely my mistake) because the quest started as usual, but the commands you listed in the sticky comment seemed to work so I'm happy :)
this is far easier than when I was on ps4... you had to take advantage of a bug in order to keep her as a robot; I was so happy that it was possible though. I don't even remember how to perform it, but I don't need to anyways :)
Question: for some reason after i maxed affinity with curie as a robot she stopped giving me stimpacks, now she doesn't give anything at all, is that related to this mod?
I don't think so, it shouldn't (obviously, i know), and i strongly believe i kept receiving occasional stimpacks even after going through anything related to changes this mod does. It shouldn't be hard to see what the conditions for the stimpacks are, and verify/test it, but i don't even have the game installed and i am sorry, but i can't spend the time to do this now.
Question: which dialogues does this change? also, would that mean the dialogues i can get all have the "robot filter"??? that was what i liked the most about curie, the robot filter was better than the plain human voice imo
No it's not immersive because I should be able to tell Curie to stfu about it at any point if I chose not to do it.
I demand a fix for this mod. I lied to her I told her ok "idk were we will find what you are asking for but sure". Ok that does it then I'm killing her tf out, I hated her/it anyway. She gets what she deserves.
