I wish there was a way to have Radstags' behavior somewhere in between this mod's and vanilla  - because with this mod installed, the Radstags don't run away or act timid, they're just chill with you being right next to them. Which, of course, most deer wouldn't be. Maybe the reason Bethesda made them hostile was because there's no way for them to be "deer-like" and flee while still in a friendly state?

Friendly Radroaches has this kind of behavior, but no radstag version.

This is a great mod; I wish it could be expanded to other animals.  For instance, feral dogs  are so easy to kill once you get past level 10 or so, that essentially they are committing suicide to give you XP.  And their death sounds are awful.  You have to wonder what kind of twisted people Bethesda hired to put in the effort to create those sounds, and how they got them (Michael Vick maybe?).

Making lower-level animals docile towards you once you reach a certain level would make the game a lot more fun, because you would be moving through the world more as an observer than as a constant exterminator of any wildlife you see.  (Exceptions should be made for molerats and mirelurks because of their pop-up surprise attacks.)

I know this is an old comment, but if anyone is interested, check out the mod "No More Dead Dogs" here on the Nexus. It makes them all friendly/neutral and marked essential, meaning they can't be killed. Even Raider dogs will no longer attack you, and there's an optional patch to rename them "Lazy Dog" instead of "Attack Dog".

Hello All! For some reason the radstags are fine with me, but dogmeat goes straight for the jugular with them and goes on the attack!
Anyone else have this problem? :(

Makes perfect sense for Dogmeat to do so, he's a predator and they are prey. Let him be.

Nice, I never attack radstags but it was annoying to have your companions chase after them forever once they see you and run away...

Has anyone made a mod that makes most hostile enemies more chill? so that they won't attack another until they get shot first.

I love this mod because I hate killing animals - specially docile ones. is there a way to keep my companions to stop following feral dogs after i have made them friendly?

    Doesn't work for me. :(

I've tried different load orders. No luck. Uninstalled it.

Hey OnionAddict - I loaded it with my NPC/companion mods and it works well. Also, I've been using the below link as a general guide (with a few adjustments) and I've had almost no issues with my game after installing upwards to 80 mods. Hope this helps.

Thank goodness! Easily one of the best mods on Nexus! ;)
