hey i am sorry to report this but i found a bug in your mod it (probably) has to do with the other pa mods i have but for some reason the xo1 heads on other power armors that i have that are xo1 have just a blue texture on them it is fixed when i open inventory but still really annoying if you could look into this that would be great
This is definitely a mod conflict, I have the same issue but it's resolved by using either Worsin's Garage or this one but not both. I really can't find where the conflict is though, this is a pretty straight material swap, hopefully someone knows because it does look terrible!
Is this a Replacer? or does this add a 'paint job' option? These are things that should be clear as mod compatability is annoying as is with out testing every mod yourself.
It has been a while since i last added a mod. Thx man for this one, It looks amazing and It is lore friendly. Also you need a "Best Dad Award 2018". Cheers from France !
My game is up to date and I can't seem to get glow either. Am I missing something? Or misunderstanding?
EDIT: NVM by restarting NMM I realised that the mod while saying was installed, showed unchecked on ESL. By checking it, it works in game as intended. Beautiful worksmanship on the texture work. Endorsing!
Hello there Pantheress, thank you so much, I'm glad you like it! and hello again Richy, thank you for helping Pantheress's problem. I'm truly sorry was very2 busy lately, but, now I have time to continue! btw yesterday I found out that mod already exist here, can you tell me your opinion about that mod?
(Beware, wall of text) Life happens. Play with this when you can. I didn't know that other mod existed.
Nice retex job in the other mod. It makes the Quartz PA T60 and the Captain's Blend PA X01. But, all the Vim PAs you find look new, even the one's that have been outdoors. They're just a straight retex of the original armors. I disagree with that mod just placing the new PAs so you can easily find them. The one Copland had stolen was dumped. He stated that he was dumping stolen equipment in one of his terminal entries. Here's a partial quote from the Wiki:
"Phase Two Escalation. Random theft and attacks on workers. Don't keep stolen materials, but dump them and make sure that it's obvious enough to the workers that they are being targeted, but not enough to cause a full scale investigation."
I also disagree completely with an existing Captain's Blend PA. That drink was still in development and hadn't had a general release. The existing Vim PAs were apparently T51. However, it would be neat (but optional) if you could apply those paint jobs to all the PAs. And of course, in the other mod nothing glows!
My thinking is that all Vim's PAs were probably war surplus T51. They couldn't afford the latest and greatest like Nuka Cola. The one that was stolen, and dumped, would have been for the 3rd drink that Vim had on the market at the time, Quartz. While it might be possible to find it somewhere on or around the island, it isn't necessary. If I were going to steal and dump it, I'd drop in the ocean just off the coast close to the (Copland's) hideout, like at Fringe Cove Docks. They were planning to release Captain's Blend to generate revenue to fight Nuka Cola's takeover attempt. While the drink was still in development, Vim's advertising people probably had all sorts of fun things on the drawing board to promote it. This could possibly include an Ambassador's PA paint job.
Anyway, that's my opinion. Everybody has one. I'm sure others watching this page have theirs too. However, the creative choices are yours. Having fun with that is the whole point. Mod on! (But, try not to giggle to yourself too much while you're doing it.)
It's ok, a wall of text was never my enemy reading that wall, I'm glad that we are on the same page, I agree with what you think, and also about the other mod, after installing and taking close inspection, I'm not pleased with it at all, the textures themself and also the addition, so I will continue making this VIM PA mod.
I didn't install the other mod so I didn't look at the textures like you did. The "Escape to Adventure" texture on the other mod was sloppy. I like your full color artwork. Looking forward to the upload!
