Overview

This small mod will cause ghouls to rise again, and again... and again... that is of course unless you decapitate them (Headshot, make their head explode) or leg them; shoot off either leg. Either of these dismemberment effects will work while they're 'dead' too. This mod uses the same functionality as the glowing ones' reanimation effect. The time in which they will rise again will vary from anywhere between 5 seconds and 1 minute.

3 different versions with compatability with the Walking Dead mod by stabcops.

This mod is intended to be used with the Walking Dead mod, however there are versions without dependancy on that mod. This was to make them much more threatening in numbers despite being slow shamblers, but if you use this with vanilla ghouls (or just fast ghouls) they may be very difficult due to speed and constant regeneration.

Versions

3 different versions of this mod exist.

Version 1: Only effects feral ghouls (Only Ferals can self-resurrect unless they've had their head/leg blown off.)

Version 2: Only effects glowing ones (Only glowing ones can self-resurrect unless they've had their head/leg blown off.)

Version 3: (Both Ferals and Glowing types can self-resurrect unless they've had their head/leg blown off. Fortune and glory kid, fortune and glory.)

Optional Chance addon: options range from 10%/20%/30% etc. up to 90%. This will cause ghouls to not revive based on the chance you choose even if they havent been dismembered. Simply pick a % and drop the scripts folder into your data folder, and override. Suggested by Reveurr.

Installation

Drop the scripts folder into your data folder.
Pick one .esp from the subfolders, and drop them into your data folder.

Load Order

This mod will conflict with other mods that edit the Feral & Glowing Ghoul Races (Civilized ghouls remain untouched). Either load this after those or use FO4Edit to merge the changes :)

Nuances

- While a ghoul is getting up they are immune to damage, similar to the reanimation effect in skyrim, they aren't actually 'alive' again until the animation is complete, so save your ammo.

- you will gain xp for killing the same ghoul multiple times, since it does count as a kill each time. This could be seen as an exploit but then again if you're worried about exploits in a bethesda game then perhaps this isn't your biggest problem :P (as it is possible to do such things with a glowing one in vanilla; allowing it to hang around dead ghouls and constantly revive them, so don't fret =D). 

- I am unsure whether or not this will complicate certain quests, likely not, but keep an eye out for that.

- This will make ghouls more deadly vs npcs, since npcs are dumb and will likely not shoot/whack at their heads/legs intentionally.

Incompatabilities
 
CROSS crit gore-verhaul: There is now a patch made kindly by Riverwind that can be found here that will fix the problem of skeletons getting back up.

Bugs

Not yet aware of any but let me know if you come across them.
