NB: due to an error on my part, versions of the Full Overhaul prior to V1.12 are missing some textures. Please update to 1.12 if you're experiencing this issue.
thank you for doing this. probably one of the most essential mods the pack was my favorite of the gangs but their look by itself made it impossible to get along with them, let alone not slaughter them and beat the s#*! out of mason
I can't wait to play with this mod. I get the appeal of the original pack color scheme, and it makes sense for their personalities, but I just couldn't get into it. Even my barrel-chested, unarmed yao-guai wrestling, Grognak-had-a-baby-with-Saitama, oak-armed bruiser never wants to run with the Pack. Mason looks like an 80s action star who wanted to change up his career, but couldn't decide if he should be the gunslinger in westerns or enroll in clown college, so he just combined both looks without skipping steroid day. Or, as others have stated, "Burning Man frat party." I can imagine finding them terrifying in real life after witnessing some brainless carnage while wearing that ridiculous garb, but in a game where my character is basically the strongest person alive... meh. Thanks for this mod; I almost sided with the Disciples on my sane character just to avoid the skittles puke.
This is a really underrated mod. The idea of an animal themed raider gang is cool, but the teletuby color scheme ruins the intimidation element. This restores their aesthetic perfectly.
Btw, newest version with including all textures has only packed textures and esp. I like more using loose files to keep esp amount smaller. I think I just unpack textures and not use esp. Good mod anyway, i never liked their bright colors.
Sorry if I've misread this but does this mean pack NPCs still use multicoloured facepaint but with the new desaturated armour or does it mean that they don't use the new desaturated armour and the items only exist in the game for the player?
They still use the facepaint, but have the new armor. I've yet to find a way to quickly/efficiently change the face/hair colours of all the pack NPCs in the Creation Kit, sadly
I liked the idea but some of the armor is to dark. To much black. Would have loved to see dark brown/red/blue etc being used. To much black makes the details on the armor hard to see. Still good job though. They are originally nice armors but the Rainbow colours are a bit to much.
My response was not condescending nor was it crass.
I'd like to point out that for something to be "crass" it has to be asinine, boorish, mindless, or of a witless nature.
My comment was none of these. It was apt, curt, brief, and poignant. The author did their due diligence explaining the scope of the mod. You made the error of overlooking it. That is all there is to it.
