   The one who made the idea of this gun clearly doesn't know what good weapon design is.

      Maybe, just maybe the moddeler just doesn't want anything to do with a letter-perfect moddeling at the moment in order to not be criticized. It's allright for a FO4 mod.

      I think he means the original concept, not the modder's port of it into the game.

      Well this gun does fire 90mm shells at a high rate of fire, and it was used by 18 meter tall machines, so I don't think ergonomics and comfort was really necessary.

      considering it was a weapon designed for a giant robot, and it was designed in the late '70s...yeah you're kinda right.
      
      Mecha weapons are more based around 'it looks cool' anyway.

      This gun's from 0080 War in the Pocket, so that's 1989, not late 70s.

   Hi there! I'm a beginner at 3d modeling, I use Inventor professional 2017. Currently I've taken up a rather large project that also has to do with creating a model for a gun.Do you have any tips or specific videos I can watch to learn how to do it right?

      I have never used software called Inventor professional 2017. I do not know how useful it is for you, but there are lots of 'How to' videos on Youtube.
