i got the message : UNLOCK SETTLEMENT FIRST ยง ""You have no control over Institute Concourse , First you have to claim the settlement before importing blueprints""
Hey Oxhorn! Great build. An observation and a question if you don't mind:
Observation: you can have power armor in your bluepriint - with the caveat that it will revert to it's original state (the state you found it in) using PE. The trick is to use INS for alternate item selection, pick up the suit and place it again - don't just release it (or PA frame). This links it to the WS so it will export with TS. So for example if you have a PA frame that had both pauldrons and a chest piece when you found it, when it imports that's what it will have again even if you modified it before exporting.
Question - how on earth are you getting PE to duplicate stuff? You said use backspace in your video and it duplicates the item you had highlighted... but that is not default behavior of PE... I'd really like to do this in some of my builds but can't get it working. Any help appreciated. The default PE behaviour for Backspace - "undo last precise movement/rotation/scaling action."
The duplicate is turned of by default in PE, (and the delete -key) I explained how to fix it recently at PE's comments so please check it out there so I don't have to type it all again here and I can't copy and past my .ini here as I have changed so many keys. (I'm beginning to be lazy at older days, sorry)
Edit: Or you could just click it in the console and type 'spawndupe', but I think you have to straighten up its angles afterwards with the NUM 0 -key (I hope it is that key in your game, I'm on very thin ice here now)
I never actually had to set up the ini file before so it took a bit to figure out (instructions missing some key details - like not only do you have to remove the ; you also have to change the text from 'off' to 'on' (I know - duh, right?). I just renamed the place_example.ini to place.ini and made those two changes and it's good to go. Think I will avoid the 'delete' option for now lol
Thank you very much Oxhorn. I have been searching high and low for a mod that adds a settlement to the Institute without any luck and I even tried the wonky CK to make one for myself but that turned out like a disaster, I just hate CK's UI, we're not friends anymore, but you linked one here for me (AS Institute Workstations), Awesome Maybe I'll use your BP later on, well see. I want to try myself first. Ah what the hell, I'll give you a kudos for all your very good videos also. Thanks for that too
I read the entire blueprint description with your voice, I think I've watch too many of your videos... but they are incredibly entertaining to listen while exploring the Commonwealth! xD
