WhiskeyTangoFawks has made a patch for this mod that fixes some of it's issues (and makes it compatible with Moonracer's Lunar Fallout). It can be found on the download page for Whiskey's Lunar Fallout Patches. The patch for my mod can be downloaded individually.  Please give Whiskey plenty of Kudos and Endorsements!

So you've played a couple thousand hours.  You've been everywhere.
Twice.
More than twice.
You could find all the Bobbleheads in your sleep.

Let me change that...

Random Valuables seeks to bring a little variety to that 300th playthrough.  If you just grab the Perception Bobblehead after talking to Preston the first time without even thinking about it, if you know exactly where to find the pre-placed 20 mini-nukes across the map, if you make the trip to the top of Corvega just for the nearly-useless Repair Bobblehead, this just might be the mod for you.

What I have done is taken the unique items and... shuffled them around a bit.  Magazines, Bobbleheads, Mini-Nukes, Stimpaks; they all have new locations, and it is never the same on a new playthrough.  In fact, the ammunition and chems change up whenever the cell is reset.  Bobbleheads, especially, will be really special to find now.

What this mod does, in detail:

BOBBLEHEADS
Bobbleheads have been removed from their original places and scattered throughout the Commonwealth.  When you make a new game, the mod chooses 20 of 300 possible locations, and assigns a Bobblehead to them.  It's always a surprise when you find one!

MAGAZINES
Perk Magazines can now spawn anywhere you could find the equivalent "burnt" variety.  Yes, you could wind up with multiple copies of individual magazines, or never find a specific one, but they are never in the same place twice.

AMMUNITION
Loose ammunition has been replaced by a random marker, allowing Mini-Nukes to spawn where .44 did before, but also replaces all the Mini-Nukes, Missiles, etc, with the same marker.  So if you think you know where all the Mini-Nukes are, well, you don't.

CHEMS AND PRE-WAR FOOD
Packaged food (snack cakes, etc) and chems, including Stimpaks, have been replaced by a similar random marker.  Chems and Food have their separate own markers, so you won't find Dandy Boy Apples where a Rad-X usually spawns.

What Hasn't changed:
"Lore-Friendly" spawns, such as the Fusion Cells by the Laser Musket outside the museum, are not changed.  I didn't touch the, ahem, "special chems" in Shaw High School.  Also, I changed nothing in Vault 111.  The initial startup will be the same as before.  The Bobbleheads don't even randomize until you leave the Vault.  This mod shouldn't conflict with any mod, unless it modifies where things spawn (obviously).

This mod is dedicated to BobertPeabody, who gave me the idea on the forums.
