I found Dr. D but when I try to talk, there are no dialogue options. He asks me if I have his package but I can't respond. Anyone have suggestions? Thank you in advance.
Is there a possibility to enter the secret room in toys shop? It says like "you have 2 of 5 easter eggs collected". Searched every corener of simulation, found nothing more.
This is 2022... ... I read through the contents you provided, the quests... smell like RPG in the 80s-90s with singular line of operation for 2D games back then, with no other choices or such; then I read from the posts about 'humor'... ... Fallout 2 made its mark (alongside Wasteland I) thanks to real humorous moments or ideas.
It will be a pity if the mod is indeed that humorous or creative in contents yet buried due to gameplay stuck in the 90s.
If the mod is already having a good (humorous) base, I encourage you to add more contents, create new spaces (new worlds) bit by bit... ... perhaps also adding a Starlight Drive in Big Screen which can be used to play from Actual DVD. We already have Radio stations playing from players' personal lists of music/songs, so why not.
Ghosts, or creatures from other games which can recreated or imported into your mod will be marvellous too. Besides, many Fallout fans were also talking about 'visiting' China and other 'not nuked' areas. Your mod got the potential, so... Fallout 5 should still be 5 years away, meanwhile, you have all the time for modding your mod further.
Watched one of the videos... Yeah, your Freeside really should have more than Hubos... Mercenaries, thugs, and mad old women will spice things up a lot, alongside with armored hookers loose on the streets. There should also be 'innocent NPCs' fighting against such robberies. Some vehicles to blow up will be nice too. The area looks too empty.
Be proud and serious in your work, and get noticed. Some modders are said to be recruited in Bethesda, and if Bethesda is hot and now with Microsoft, a serious mod garnering crowds can make a big difference cos the game industry will dominate in time to come.
Most importantly... you know now Fallout 4 is already old game, it wasn't like those times when much attention of the modding community will be crowding here creating a flood of contents... creating a flood of competitions. Which means, with so much potential in this mod of yours as a base, 'Mod of the month' title can be rather... easier to grab, and with that if a modder needs something in the resume or for showcase.
Chances are you won't get what you want, but if at the right timing, the chances of getting what you want may be much higher.
Kindly check for compatibility with major quest mods, add more contents in new isolated cells, and think about gameplay or replayability. I used to 'edit' Age of Empire games with their tools, nothing much with a guy with no IT skills, the 're-edition' and map creations were focused on gameplay, my friends absolutely loved the 'maps'... with lot of hilarious surprises, especially when they tried the maps a second time they realized with a logical web loop I quietly used, the same encounter yields varied responses which lead into even more branches of happenings. Hahahaha... ...
This is the time, when competition is low and FO4 is still a major game despite being old... ... since almost all RPG 3D sandbox is about the same mundane 'operations' in that you can completely change FO4 into Skyrim and vice versa, transform FO4 into Resident Evil... or even, you can retexture everything if you are professional enough into another Call of Duty game (maybe add that world into FO4 as you do with Point Lookout)... ... And if you are that professional and have a team, create a world of space ships (Mothership Omincron or what) and become like the next blockbuster space game Bethesda is working on. What I am saying is, modding is actually 'game making', and if you are serious FO4 is still the platform cos almost every other game... including the Witcher franchise, the God of War, the Assassin's Creed... ... or GTA, tell me which cannot be generated or replaced hence be 'imported into' Fallout 4 world?
Same 'dead' quests... with the same 'dead' different endings.
This is your chance, Supernath97. Even if FO5 comes, there will be still a period of time players will be waiting for DLCs, the updated patched version of the main game dealing with tons of bugs, then... that'd be about 3 years before the real group of players move in. Because new equipment will likely be needed, you will have at least 5+3 years to make your mod or... your game.
But note that best make your game before 5 years, so that safely have another 2~3 years for players to try and you killing bugs to strive for 'Mod of the Month'. Your mod will be perfect, and any old timers to replay FO4 or any younger folks wanting to try F04 for the first time after FO5 will hear of your mod which 'is a must install'. You will be known in the gaming community eventually.
This is so... for practically every serious modders right now.
It is funny why so many gave up when the competition is drying up, and the platform is still golden... ... LOL~
Mortal stupidity is never my interest to look into anyway.
I hope this will encourage you to jump in seriously. I have no lack of ideas, should you need any talk about such, if I see your message I will reply.
Im having an issue with the chair to start the simulation. No matter what I do I just can't sit in the chair, like its not recognized as a usable object or something... I really want to play this mod as it sounds really good, but as of now, its a little broken for me.
Having the same issue. Cannot interact with the chair at all. When I look on the map, it shows two doors to the simulation where the chair is. Tried with and without power armor and tried reloading the mod a couple of times but it didn't help.
I hate you. Let me see you get a code to kill me again! I HATE YOU!
Why do I hate you? Because you caused me physical pain. Actual physical pain. By the time I finished this mod, my cheeks, my face, my head, my neck, and my sides were in utter pain. I would not stop laughing the moment I got into the simulation. Gave me a Saints Row 4 vibe (mainly Benjamin King's loyalty quest if you ever played Saints Row 4). The mini quests were funny too and fun. (I'm going to assume that the spoo00ooky mod influenced you in making Claustrophobia?)
And M. F McG... he's a good junk of the reason for my pain. Especially his response when I said the place was too clean.
I hate you. I hate you very very much. You deserve this endorsement, but I hate you. Also, make more in the ACB series.
Can't find decrepit base. Installed with NMM, but cannot find it. I have scoured the entire area between natick, stockpile 84NE and points west, but no bunker.
Nope, no map marker, even with the TMM 1 console command. As far as I know, yes, it was installed properly, using nexus mod manager. Watched ACB's video of the mod, and nothing is in the same area as his vid shows.
Finally finished East Side Story and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It may have been caused by the Grasslands mod, but I had to resort to watching an Al Chestbreach playthrough to find the club entrance. Once found it was a pleasure to complete.
Started right after my last acb mod, so 11 months ago, i took breaks to work on other projects, write the story, create easter eggs and get voice actors.

This can be a very good mod.

Ciao.

Kraoro, don't let the lack of knowing who Al Chestbreach keep you from playing this mod. Just pretend he is MxR or Gopher if that helps.
