Hello! I love your mods so much, but this one made me very upset. Its not working! Clean version not working at all, and I can't scrap ANYTHING! I have Scrap Everything mod, load it after settlement. Reinstall game not help :( sorry for my english
That sounds like MOD conflict to me then. bobblunderton has done extensive testing on this kind of problems, I suggest you find his writings and try to see if they help. Here is one very useful link to his Messages: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/29639?tab=posts
I'd like to chime in here and say that I am having the same issue with the clean version. I had the mod inactive in my load order until I cleared the library. I exited the library, made a save, activated the esp, loaded the save and entered the library. The game recognizes the new settlement, and I can see the workshop, some beds, and the water pump, but the library is not in any way "clean" and I can't scrap any of the objects other than the ones added by this mod. I tried moving it down in the load order and nothing changed.
It's possible I have some kind of conflict as I've got over 100 esps active, but I do not have any other mods that alter the library, so I'm not at all sure what it could be.
Edited to add: I just tried the regular version, and it seems like it works as intended. I see the workshop (nothing else is added in this version that I saw on my quick run through) and can scrap some of the objects. I don't have scrap everything (which is why the clean version sounded awesome!), so it makes sense that I can't get rid of everything. I'd say that there is an issue with the clean version, or at least that that version conflicts with something that the regular version doesn't have an issue with.
Thank you! Yesterday I started completely new game and added all my mods one by one to find out what the conflict is. And I found it!!! The problem was with Remove Interior Fog Mod https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2628?tab=description Now I am so happy! This settlement is amazing! Thank you very much and sorry for my stupidity) *and my English)
Hello! This settlement location mod looks like Exactly what I've been wanting. The library is just such an underused building.
There is a small issue with using your mod for me however. It seems using your mod along side sim settlements causes errors and breaks my game save every time I've tried. Without sim settlements your mod works great on a clean un-modded save but i'm currently enjoying all the work KingGath has put into his mod as well.
I was wondering if you had any ideas on anything I might be able to do so that they could play nice with each other.
I have not tried SIm Settlements, so I can't help you, sorry. However, I can tell you that others have reported before that there are no problems on Sim Settlement behavior with my MOD's.
I'm getting conflicting information here. This is from the Sim Settlement's own mod forums (slightly outdated): [ https://i.imgur.com/gvtm8sp.png ] [ https://i.imgur.com/BQ8pbHS.png ] and [ https://i.imgur.com/yBsLcgu.png ]
I can't get sim settlements and your mod to work together, and unfortunately I'm doing a sim settlements centered play through right now. Really wanted the boston library, perfect location for a mid city base and would make for a nice commercial settlement.
[Edited after thread being locked] @Ragoda I'm certain if you reached out to KingGath and his mod team, they would be more than willing to work with you in a Friendly way to solve any potential problems despite what members of his community might have done or said. I'm certain he does not agree with their way of handling the situation if what you say is true. I'll keep trying to find ways to get both of this mods to work on my own but i'm certain with both of you working together you could do it a lot better.
Those two individuals did give me easy fix to the POSSIBLE problems they thought my MOD's might have. However, their 'fix' did cause very probable bugs, so I totally decided to keep doing things the way I had always done them. I also heated to their arguments after being called names. Yes, I reverted to it myself after being attacked, and I am not going to apologize for that.
It is most interesting to notice that they have kept attacking me and my MOD's behind my back, most likely lessening downloads on them. Well, I can't help if people rather believe them than me, but I wouldn't trust anyone who tells you that I made errors in my MOD building which MIGHT cause troubles (and I do not dispute this), and then gives me a 'solution' that actually with great probability DOES cause some problems in my MOD's
But what do I know? I have not done but about 200+ Settlement MOD's...
Your take it or leave it Settlement MOD builder, Ragoda,
ps. as additional information I should tell you that I have never tested, nor taken into account, Sim Settlement MOD's when I have built my own MOD's. However, I have never heard anyone tell me they do not work together, but I have been told the opposite, that my MOD's and Sim Settlements do work together on more than few occasions, so go figure
pps. of course I totally forgot that now Kenkiroa has given me first problem report concerning this MOD and Sim Settlements working together, so please take this into account if planning to use my MOD. However, problems or not, I highly doubt they are all about my MOD's side of things
Thanks! Problem is the settlers can't be assigned, and no provisioner routes are being made. I tried putting it on the bottom of the list but it's not working and there is no conflicts from what I can see.
Lets see if I'll feel inspired to do that. Maybe if it's a simple open MOD in Editor and save it, but if I need to do more than that with all my MOD's, it's bit too much.
you are a gift ! what a delightfully fun and uncommon canvas to work on. brilliant idea and wonderful cleaning and care. loaded well plays well that alone is a rarity thank you
I love this mod, thank you for your work ! However, i can't send settler there from another workshop or even with a beacon and the spawnable settler button mod. It is listed as settlement but even if a send a person there, she stays at the same place. (i use the unclean library version of the mod).
1.Are there any settlement attack points? 2.Can i use Sim Settlements 2 properly in there? Anyway I really love the cool idea of turning a lib to a settlement
1. I don't think I have made attack points ever in internal settlements 2. I hope I don't remember wrong but I think someone said it can be done, test first though just in case - and think on do you use my version or speedynl's cleaned version of library that is based on mine
I like Library as settlement building area myself also, it for certain is big enough for it!
Loving this mod. Perfect for my bookworm Fallout 4 character.
Though, just one small issue I noticed. There's this one spot on the ground where trying to place objects sinks them down and puts them red when trying to place them. I went into the CK to try to see if I could figure it out myself. Turns out that floor tile was BldDecoSmFlrOnly11 when all the others were BldDecoSmFlrOnly01. I replaced that floor tile in my esp and it fixed the problem for me. Not sure why that changes things, but it does lol.

Will be trying this mod very soon as it really is a great site for a settlement!
