Yeah I went to open the lights menu and my game froze, that was with 1.0, hopefully this is all fixed up. Mods that are simple and elegant attract me and I think that's what you have here.
Edit: this isn't playing well with my setup for some reason.
Download the menu fixer I link to in the uninstall section, activate it, load your game and save it, exit game, deactivate the menu fixer and reload your save... That should fix all menu issues and this mod should run perfectly after that...
Though I mist say this mod does nothing with the lights menu
Using 2.1 fixed the menus and all that and made everything usable and yeah, I saw for myself that this doesn't touch lights, which creeped me out.
But that isn't what made me uninstall. After I installed this I started getting crashes while saving the game. I'm using the old Snap n Build, Woody's Wasteland Stuff, SMM, The Master Plan, so maybe it could be a conflict? That's why I used the words I did.
I dunno if you'd be interested in looking at it, but I thought I'd let you know about it in case it comes up to bite someone.
I have no idea... I’ll have a look at those mods to see if there is anything that could cause issues... And I’ll triple check my mod to see if there’s anything weird...
those great and really refreshing for the settlements
but personally think if you can add new category for your mod it's become easier for finding them and using them this become very useful if you have plans for upgrading this mod with more stuff or you already add tons of stuff for easier creating category's you can use mods like Settlement Menu Manager
Hi, I know you said that the Settlement Menu Manager script gave you a headache, but I'd really recommend you give it a second shot. We use it for our mod, and it's honestly easier going forward when you update your mod. Especially for the users. I don't have any affiliation with that mod (other than using it) but thought I would throw my two cents in. Then again, I have a partner to help me with the coding end of it. I can ask him to give you a hand with it if you like.
Thanks for this; nice work. I especially like the new rugs. I did notice that in build mode, some objects in the lower selection menu are much larger than normal, and overlap adjacent items; it's kind of a mess. I can tell what they are, but it looks like either the scaling is off or the camera is zoomed in too far or something. They look perfect on the field, it's just the preview that's wonky.
In my game it seems fine... But, I do use standard previews in the esp, I'll take another look, but it might just be an issue with another mod in your game that did something to change the original preview...
I think that's correct. They also seem to have some kind of collision box. When I lay down one of your custom rugs there's a point in it I can't walk through. It's not the size of the entire rug, it's more like an invisible pillar. If I move the rug, that invisible obstacle moves with it; and if I delete the rug, the obstacle goes away.
I saw that same invisible collision mesh on another mod I have installed. It randomly shows up from time to time on the invisible rugs I place from the mod Craftable Animation Marker (Relaxation Furniture). I am not sure if this helps or is related but the weird collision only appears sometimes with the same rug and only on custom built surfaces. So I can place the exact same rug in one custom house and I get no invisible collision. Then I place that rug in another custom house and I get the invisible collision. I delete the rug and the collision remains. I hope this helps and is in some way related to Furiant's issue.
The onl thing I can think of to change this, is to not make them separate nifs, but do a custom material swap in the original nif inside CK... I fixed the preview issue, but haven’t uploaded yet, as I’m doing it together with the additional items I made and the custom menu...
A lore-friendly mod that helps to avoid repetition. Works without problems. I love it!
I have a question for the author. Can you recommend a tutorial on how to make craftable items for the settlements? I have a plenty of ideas, but the tutorials I find are focused on things like craftable weapons and stuff. Thank you in advance!
