Man this looks familiar. Feel like I've seen this somewhere else before...
^CheyTac M200 Intervention | 3D Warehouse (sketchup.com) Wait a minute, that's where I've seen this before! And with textures! That sure is weird! How'd that happen?? I mean, it's not like you pulled a model someone else made in 2011, couldn't figure out how to port the textures or how to rig it, and then posted it here, passing it off as your own or anything, right? That would be really silly. It would've been even wackier if you claimed that "your" model was used in someone else's mod and went to a YouTuber's page to spam the comments about how you deserve credit for a mod you had no part in. That would've just been crazy.
Sorry to disappoint, but the model use in that mod does not belong to you at all.
The model used in the mod:
Your model:
Based on observation, which anyone familiar with 3D work would've known, given that both models do not share any wireframe similarities at all, there is 100% certainty that both models cannot be the same at all.
You even claim that your model has no textures - why on earth would someone go through the trouble of texturing a stolen model instead of finding one already textured?
In addition, your model actually looks suspiciously similar to this one:
So similar in fact, that they have the same scope markings and mistake of having the scope mount fitted backwards:
I'm looking foward to see this beast being brought to fallout 4. I'm triying to contact any modder who is willing to use this model or at least take it for reference to make his own model. Please anyone who knows anything about this stuff make this gun.
DUDE your mod is amazing I saw it on youtube by captainoob to review your mod and it is amazing even though I never used the mod but everything about is amazing I hope some one will take over the mod development to finish the creation that I hope it will be published to the xbox one version someday in the future.
wait what!? i have gotten no information about this!! i just posted on his video with the name Lenny Summers to see if it really is my model. if it is i really would like to hear who made it and why i was not informed...
i have. but they said no because my model is not rigged for either animations nor texturing. i only know how to make models and sadly know nothing of the things they ask of it. :(
There is a Cheytac M200 Intervention mod for Fallout 3 and New Vegas on Nexus, Wish I knew how to bring it across. Obviously with Author's permission :)
