Editing the textures more to your liking? There are two critical things to do before you can open the textures in Photoshop: 1) Make sure to unpack the Ba2 files with the official Archive2 Tool. It should be in *steam*/Fallout4/tools/Archive2/Archive2.exe. The textures of this mod are packed with high quality BC7 compression, which the community BAE tool can't unpack correctly. 2) You may also need to update to the latest version of the intel textureworks plugin for photoshop: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-texture-works-plugin

I was confused because when I tried the "no jacket" variants my character appeared to be topless but with wonky chest textures. I'm assuming that's what's happening to you. You simply need to go to an armor workbench and enable the male/female undershirt. Don't know why the undershirt is not enabled by default, seems like a silly thing to have as an option.
I have the next gen update and this mod works just fine for me. The suit in Fort Hagen spawned normally. Mods that don't require F4SE are usually not affected by the next gen update, just the ones that do.
I think this mod has a bug where you simply become immune to environmental radiation once you wear the suit, which is a real shame because I love this suit so much. I don't mean while wearing the suit, ofc, that's what the suit does, but once you take it off, the radiation immunity doesn't go away.
how do you get the 4k while using vortex. New to modding and I have tried putting the files into the original file while using vortex and deleting the old one but that is not working.
Not sure about Vortex, but with MO2 you'd just open the CROSS_InstituteExpeditionarySuit folder in explorer and extract the Textures ba2 into it. Boom, should work just like that.
Assuming it would be the same, just a matter of locating where it is on your computer and moving the file to the appropriate location.
For whatever reason the mod simply isn't working. Everything is installed, I even made it high on the load order. Every time I get in the cryopod and see the scientist and Kellogg, they are wearing the default white suit. Does this first cutscene not work with the mod or is it just not working for me. Someone please help me as I ADORE this mod.

-The outfit is not added to any leveled lists, it can only be found in hand placed locations or crafted.
