1- Build your settlement/area to copy (copies only objects close to each other: one house and it's furniture, not several distant houses) 2- Build your little "clone my shack" shack (small container looking like a wooden house in the "first/special" menu of the workshop) 3- Inside you will find a "blueprint" called cloned XYZ settlement 4- In the "special" menu of your workshop there are 2 similar signs: white background and black arrow on top 5- Place one of those sign next to the stuff you want to copy (next = touching the items to be copied) 6- Select any of the items to be cloned and keep the select key pressed until all of the items are selected 7- Than move an inch and place them there. Wait a little until all items are copied. 7bis- You should have a message that says "123 items copied" 8- Once the copying process is over, take the "cloned settlement XYZ" from the clone my shack container and go someplace else 9- At the other settlement, build a new "clone my shack" shack and put the previous "cloned XYZ settlement" inside 10- In workshop mode, put the other white sign with the arrow on it to the ground anywhere and wait a little for the copy to complete 10bis- You should see a message that says: 123 items will be copied, then after a while: 123 items copied successfully...
One of the "black arrow on top of white background" sign is the "origin" from where the items to be copied will be copied. The other sign is the exact opposite: it is the origin from where the previously copied items will be placed. So if there was chair 50 inches left of the first sign in the first location, a chair will be placed 50 inches left of the second sign at the new location.
Wish I knew HOW to make this mod work. Trying to clone a structure I built long ago, that now has a fracking tree growing right up thru the center of it, and that tree will not scrap or console away - it's an artifact I guess - shows no ID in console command mode. SO I figured "screw" the tree - just clone the structure for placement elsewhere to a spot I KNOW no trees will suddenly appear. But all I can manage is to multi-select the entire settlement. The structure is made up of many individual shape files, and there are a ton of modded-in rock formations, trees I built, other structures all around, so simply highlighting just it is out of the question - EVERYTHING wants to move with my target structure. I just posted a screenshot image here, in "Images", if anyone cares to look and maybe offer some help. I tried using the video, but I am not understanding how he is doing it.
Love this mod. Save me soooo much time I wish I found it earlier. Now I dont mind replaying the game. I didnt before because i didn't want to have to redo the settlements all over again. Great job with this one.
Can someone possibly post a step by step on how to do this? It's unclear how to use the enabler and when or the arrows and marker. I've made a self contained settlement in a single building and can't figure out how to clone it and place it in another settlement. Thanks.
Well, if you combine it with transfer settlements maybe. I didn't tried it since I didn't played Fallout 4 in a long time, but you should be able to export from Clone My Shack World, therefore import your buildings in to other save games.
thank you for the response, i have used transfer settlements and your mod as well but didn't know how much yours could do in size, my settlement build has 8500 or so parts and 2886 electric connections and it takes 45 mins to use transfer settlements to import it( Reaper's Castle - Clean Operational Base (TS Blueprint) ) , and i am in the middle of rebuilding all of nuka world so there will be lots of buildings and settlements i would like to make into a copy and place kind of setup if that make scene and transfer settlement is good but way to slow , i wish that Stuckur would update clipboard , it made big projects easy, i will try thanks again
I don't think my mod is going to do any better than transfer settlements, it's intended for single buildings not complete settlements, there's no actual restriction but you need to be able to move everything in order to select it, which would be near to impossible for a whole settlement.
Is there a way to get this to work for Settlemods Collection? I built a massive base in Fiddler's Green and, after realizing that custom settlements glitch out settler assignments, I wanted to move my base elsewhere (to Sanctuary perhaps). Please help me.
use a older version of CLIPBOARD go to the comments section and read there you will find a way to make a older version work and it will do what you want

Are you still active? I would like to know how to use this
I'm using translator, my English is not good
2- Build your little "clone my shack" shack (small container looking like a wooden house in the "first/special" menu of the workshop)
3- Inside you will find a "blueprint" called cloned XYZ settlement
4- In the "special" menu of your workshop there are 2 similar signs: white background and black arrow on top
5- Place one of those sign next to the stuff you want to copy (next = touching the items to be copied)
6- Select any of the items to be cloned and keep the select key pressed until all of the items are selected
7- Than move an inch and place them there. Wait a little until all items are copied.
7bis- You should have a message that says "123 items copied"
8- Once the copying process is over, take the "cloned settlement XYZ" from the clone my shack container and go someplace else
9- At the other settlement, build a new "clone my shack" shack and put the previous "cloned XYZ settlement" inside
10- In workshop mode, put the other white sign with the arrow on it to the ground anywhere and wait a little for the copy to complete
10bis- You should see a message that says: 123 items will be copied, then after a while: 123 items copied successfully...
That's all...
Sorry about that.
Good mod, thanks.
