::M29 Devil Revolver::

This mod adds the M29 Devil, a custom-made .44 Magnum revolver. While not as beeftastic as some other revolvers (*coughrsh12cough*), the Devil still makes good on its namesake, delivering .44 magnum rounds to the faces of anyone or anything dumb enough to breath in your general direction. On top of coming in with custom meshes, textures and sounds, the Devil is extensively customizable, clocking in with:

8 Receivers
16 Barrels (8 are the boxy Devil style barrels, with the other 8 being the rounder Satan barrels)
8 Muzzle Attachments (4 for each barrel style)
3 Scopes (including a reflex sight)
2 Glow Sights (front and back)
1 Laser Sight
5 Grips
2 Action options (Double and Single)
2 Ammo options (only applies to select receivers.)
5 Bullet options (This changes the bullet type, i.e. hollow point, armor piercing, etc)
16 Material options (8 for both the wooden grips and the gun itself)
25 Damage modifier options (ranging from a 25% increase to 300%)

And all that's not all! You can also change the reticle style of the reflex sight, the colors of the glow sights (both front and back can be changed individually, with 9 color options for both), and you can even change the color of the laser sight. Yes, you read that correctly, the laser sight has color swap options too. The laser is red by default, but can be changed to be green, blue, or even violet or yellow.

Of note, the laser sight and scopes can't be attached to the gun until you attach the appropriate mounting rail, and the ammo conversion option only applies to a few receivers, specifically the Heavy receiver and the Hardened thru Advanced receivers. This is 'cause you can switch to .50 caliber ammo, with the logic being those receivers are robust enough to handle the knocking around .50 caliber ammo would put them through.

The M29 Devil is a bit more powerful than the vanilla .44, doing a base 52 points of damage, which can of course be improved with the right perks and modifications. It's also level-listed via script onto Gunners, Gunner bosses and Raider bosses, as well as vendors, general loot and Legendary enemies, and will begin to turn up around level 25 and 30, depending on the source. There's also an optional patch available that will replace Kellogg's pistol with this puppy (but only if you install it on a new game, and maybe before embarking on the Fort Hagen quest; it won't replace the pistol if you already got it, or if you've started the Fort Hagen quest). Furthermore, there are also three unique versions of the pistol out in the Commonwealth that have some fairly unique effects, so better watch out for those. ;)

============
INSTALLATION
============

Download either manually or with NMM/Vortex. If taking the former route, extract the M29Devil.esp and corresponding BA2 files to your Data folder, then activate the mod from the in-game mods menu or via a 3rd party mod organizer like Wrye Bash. If doing the latter, once the mod has downloaded, activate it from NMM or in-game, and go on your merry way.

IMPORTANT: If you're installing the option replacer patch for Kellogg's pistol, be advised that it WILL conflict with other mods that change his pistol, like Unique Uniques. As such it MUST be placed low in your load order for it to work, and it WILL NOT work retroactively. It also must be active VERY EARLY in your save or on a new game, otherwise it won't work. This is due to how the game handles his unique pistol, not any fault with the patch.

===============
UNINSTALLATION
===============

Untick the mod from the in-game mods menu or your mod organizer of choice. Delete the M29Devil.esp and corresponding BA2s from your Data folder if you want to make a clean sweep.

Known Issues
============

The laser sight's emitter flare show up with a black background in the inventory view. This is due to how the game engine renders that view so there's not much I can do. Fortunately it's only noticeable if you turn the gun

ajhakra, for his cubemap resource, three of which are used in this mod.

This mod also uses some reticles from henkspamadres's See-Through Scopes Framework (which isn't required for this mod).
